Looks like they could secure promotion next weekend at the Globe. Should be a decent away following to boost the coffers

We are more than capable of spoiling the party...assuming that they don't secure promotion v Carlisle.

About time after being up there consistently for 3 years. Fully deserved.

Well fingers crossed they have a bit of a party hangover next week and we secure another home win!

There won't be any party hangover if they do beat Carlisle an win promotion. They'll be wanting to win the league ahead of Shrewsbury. We've beat them once so we can easily beat them again !

Sounds like Burton will have to wait now until Saturday to get the chance of promotion. I would expect 1000+ away fans then on Saturday ;)

Our 3 last games could well see the opposition promoted, at least 2 anyway

Burton won't quite be promoted tomorrow with a win but will be 11 points clear of Bury who have 4 games left

Didnt they turn up at Christie park with a load of balloons on the last day of the season to celebrate avoiding relegation from the conference and we beat them 5-0 to finish second, or is my memory playing tricks on me.

Yes and we were in the form of our lives and played them off the park. I worry it might be a bit different on Saturday! A draw and a decent crowd and party will do for me on Saturday!

Hope it is a decent crowd Saturday attendance wise.

Just walked past The Globe at 8.30am this morning though (Wednesday) and the Next Match board still reads as Portsmouth...

70% possession, 30 shots on goal, compared to Carlisle's 3, 13 corners and they even miss a penalty in the 94th minute!

They equalise in 98th minute :!:

Big game for them Saturday, a win will all but guarantee promotion
