Gods first half. Might have gone 1 down, but you always thought we could get back into it. Carlisle aren't marking us too tightly so we're playing with more confidence on the deck. Hope this keeps up for the second half. Fleming must stay in ahead of Kenyon.

Two excellent goals. McGowan to McGuirk who put an excellent cross for Lang to head home.
Two superb saves by Barry.

We’ve played really well. Shut up a previously very vocal, Carlisle fans. A bit more confidence to shoot would help. Level at half time probably fair. I thought we should have had a penalty for a pull on Thommo. He was never going to get the ball but that shouldn’t have made a difference. But then, we never get penalties.

Really enjoyed that game. I think we could have had two penalties but also Carlisle definitely should have had one, when Barry dragged their lad down. A draw was probably a fair result. Baz got MotM but I’d have given it to McGowan but couldn’t argue giving it to Barry after three superb saves. A good point, with almost every player on their knees at the end of the match.

What exactly does the management see in Oliver? He came on as substitute today and won precious few headers and contributed very little. The game was calling out for someone to run at the Carlisle defence and Greg Wylde would have done that. Tactically we are very naive and often our substitutions make little or no sense.

I thought we played well in periods today and in the Last five minutes we could have had 3. It was nice to see the globe with a few fans in it, hopefully it will be like that when we get promoted to league 1 next season

Surprised there's not been a bit more talk on the game. Not quite the journey drrtetro made but my trip over from Leeds was made well worth it by the game! Thought it was a superb game, we played some really lovely football. I know he was up to his occasional trick of turning backwards, but what a difference it makes having Fleming in the centre instead of Kenyon. Kept it on the deck and passed it very well. Thought both Thompson and McGurk did well dropping deeper and feeding Lang running past them. Guardiola-esque! We defended well too, kept Stockton quiet and only conceded from a set piece, which was from an incredibly stupid foul from Conlan. I thought we were smart in defence as well, often dropping off from the aerial duels we weren't going to win and getting into a good position/shape to deal with the second ball/Carlisle attack. Thoroughly enjoyed the game!

Yes it was a good game, great to see the place busy even if it was mainly Carlisle fans. We did well against a so called 'big' team and could have nicked it.
For me this is a point gained, whereas when we play like we did against Chesterfield it was 2 points lost.

Little Shrimp, you should know by now that it only gets busy on here when we play crap, or lose - or both

I thought Carlisle were average at best. Devitt their outstanding player, after 20 minutes or so when they could've been 3 nil up we started to dominate the game. As usual though too many backward passes when in good forward positions. Personally i think it was 2 points dropped as they were there for the taking! When Oliver comes on the pitch it reduces our chances of scoring! Management will be over the moon with the one point though (as usual)

Or... Management will be over the moon at staying in the Football League yet again, despite having the smallest budget and being favorites to be relegated every season? And so they should be!

After the debacle of Chesterfield I suppose he is BUT I suspect he's more delighted that it looks as though our EFL status is assured subject to a series of freak results elsewhere. The home game v Barnet will be crucial however and don't expect anything less than a fighting spirit from our visitors.

However looking towards the close season I expect Jim and Co to have to do yet another wholesale rebuilding exercise as the agents of players hover around their assets with deals from other clubs that will line not only the pockets of the players :?: but also the hyenas that are their agents...

Not sure how many players are on contract for next season but would suspect it's no more than 6 if that, so whatever money is available I can't see Jim being able to rebuild early close season and have to rely once again on the loan market which in a positive way has served Accy very well this season.

We normally follow in the footsteps of Stanley and it would be excellent if that happened again but realism suggests that it could be ( ) another season of perpetual struggle...but miracles do happen and it's about time our club got its fair share of good fortune.

Here's hoping.... :!: :!: :!:

I make it 3:

Adam Campbell
Vadaine Oliver
Aaron Wildig

Every other player is out of contract.

I think there are 4 with contracts to June 2019.

Campbell , Oliver , Wildig and Adam McGurk.

I couldn't find anything on McGurk. We didn't specify the length of his contract when signing him so I just assumed it was until the end of the season.

Should have included in my post that for me Fleming was a steadying influence in midfield and although I'm no fan of his, his contribution on Saturday was more than welcome, using the ball well and finding a fellow team mate with a simple but telling pass.

Unless there is something fairly positive re ownership by end of June I think we will lose the bulk of our team and the better ones at that. As CC says we'll be depending heavily on loans. We are rapidly becoming a development team for players from the bigger clubs. Most of them perform for us but it's hardly what we should be relying on and I don't think we can survive like that for very long.

Speculation seems to suggest that something is likely to happen regarding the ownership issue sooner rather than later.

Just hope that whatever the weeks and summer months ahead bring that the past year or so of continued unrest will come to an end.

Ref the 4 players mooted to be still in contract;

Happy to keep Wildig and McGurk (if he is still in contract)

Oliver & Campbell - not too impressed (especially Oliver).
