Welcome Harvey hope you enjoy your time with us and assist in keeping our EFL Status.

Let's hope that DA has found yet another gem.

:)

Assuming he's in the 17 man squad tomorrow I wonder who he will replace.... :?: :?: :?:

He's a big lad....6' 3" and looks to be able to handle himself in EFL2.

"I've been playing at Millwall this season, mainly for the reserves. I'm looking forward to playing at this level because I think it will suit me a lot more than under-23s football.

"I like to be aggressive, put myself about and work hard. Hopefully I can get as many goals as possible and help the team win games."

:D sounds like just what we need

Not the best scoring record for a striker but I suppose the idea is that he'll win headers and hold the ball up for the other players. Must be decent if Millwall signed him in the summer. Glad we got a striker in but still not sure who is going to be scoring our goals.

I remember being in a pub in Bournemouth when we played them on a Tuesday night and Lee, his Dad, was playing for them, his parents were there and we had quite a chinwag.

I even recall Red Alert being at the game, he was cursing the liner all night long, lol

Welcome, Harvey, hope your grandparents are doing well

OK Redalert1970, I don't know you, so I can't exactly comment on Marky's intentions, but it doesn't seem like a dig to me; after all, I've a habit of cursing liners & referees myself, although not as bad as my brother, who once got threatened with a red card by a ref... and he was a supporter yelling from the stands! I'd take it as I hope was intended, just a bit of fun.

that's seven new players now since DA took over, feel like we have turned a corner at last.

a few more good results and hopefully we might win back old fans who were driven away with dire football for ages.

Should have known better than to question your 'insider' info... :o ;)

Just a wee bit concerned about how we can afford such a huge squad as it looks as though non of our squad members are on the move to pastures new (as of 5.25 pm on transfer deadline day)....

Does the Conference have a "Window" that shuts tonight ? If it doesn't we could still loan out our deadwood to some of their clubs. JB is in a pickle at the bottom so he may be keen on a podgy full-back or an injury prone midfielder

IF and it's a big IF we made a reported unsuccessful bid along with Carlisle for former Blackpool striker Steve Davies then the owners and the Board must have made extra finance available to support DA in his desire to sign the player.

The suggested savings in the salaries of former players and management team would have gone some way to pay for the newbies but would not have been sufficient to have covered an actual transfer fee and any additional monies involved in the transaction in my opinion, but I accept that others may see it differently.

However Steve has made it clear that he wants to see out his career at Hamilton and is hopeful that his contract that comes to an end this summer will be extended.
