O/T Auction date tomorrow 3 June

O/T Auction date tomorrow 3 June

Postby redrobo » Tue Jun 02, 2020 6:14 pm

Just a reminder that tomorrow is auction day of the 3G pitches, Community block etc.

Let's hope that this saga is finally put to bed with (fingers crossed) that it will be finally owned by a local organisation with a Community bias....

£320K is the guide price and the reserve price if that makes sense, nobody has actually bid yet.
I'm not an auctioneer but would start a bit lower than reserve just to get it going.
I would think there are only a handful of genuine punters in the market that have put down their £6000 and will be watching with interest for the first move.

I think the whole thing has been a joke and frankly a waste of time and money, we shall see in the next 10 minutes.
I'm pretty sure the 'Club' will be watching it, knowing that no bids is a real boost to getting it at a more realistic price

No bids, not surprising.
Receivers to go cap in hand to the football club or just hang on to it?

I would hope that negotiations with the club are to take place in the hope that this entire fiasco can be put to bed.....at long last.

Good news really. Hopefully the club or the council can now get it at a discount and get it back into use.

The administrators costs must be skyrocketing now, some of their Legal guys were well into 100's of pounds per hour, security, insurance and various other necessities on top of that

No bids not even a cursory one from Bond group clearly shows that they couldnt afford it even if it was dirt cheap....on the bright side , it does show that venture aren't interested , a registered party could have bid as low as they liked, apparently....

Having watched the video about the bidding process,it does say that the reserved price is the lowest price that the seller will accept!

Anyone that had paid the deposit of £6000 could have entered a bid as low as they liked, even if it was below a reserve , but no one bid anything.

They will have no choice but accept a lower price now that nobody has bid. I would hope our 2 owners have already been in contact with some sort of offer and let's hope the administrators realise that they shouldn't be throwing good money after bad and accept it.

Looks to me like our owners have played a blinder. They know the restrictions regarding access and that without it, the land is pretty much worthless. The Administrators have been chased in to a dead end and will have to re value the land and ultimately accept a lower offer. The Needhams said they were never interested in the land despite being approached so there was no panic there.

Good business sense from our owners.

2nd this

Owners have been great, just feel some of our fans are to quick to pick faults with them, maybe that's because of previous experiences with former owners or takeovers etc, but for me there's certainly a feel good factor around the club once again.

Agree....just wish that we could hear more from them especially about DA's appointment and even more so now about the non event of the auction and what their plans are going forward.

The last thing we had from them was about a potential sale of the club but that the buyer(s) didn't meet with their criteria.

On a personal note should have been in Budapest today starting our holiday on the Danube but the virus put paid to that. 'Er in doors is gutted but she has just rebooked for next year... so I've been told:!: :!: :!:

Just recently Jason and Colin asked for questions to be sent in from Worcester fans, which were answered by them on video/youtube.
