Season Ticket Sales

Could someone add the link to the totalizer, which was on here previously? I can't seem to find it.
Let's hope we can beat last season's numbers!

I don't think it's up to date. I've counted 230 seated season tickets marked as "sold" on the seating plan, whereas the online totaliser only says 170.

It's on the move again. 359 standing and 256 seating. Just about to send the standing up by another two.

Not a bad start! In some recent seasons that would have been the final total, not the second week total, so it shows how far we've come in a short period of time.

I will be buying but nearer the start of the season. Not spoke to anyone who isn't renewing, so hopefully a similar number to last season.

Was never in doubt that whatever league we are in that I wouldn't be renewing my Season Ticket.

I'll be doing it in person on Thursday pm.

Delighted that we achieved another milestone in the clubs journey after so many outside of our superb club wrote us off early doors.

No doubt we'll be given the same response next season but under DA we stand a better chance of securing a midfield place.

I've just noticed on the ticket page that we have currently sold

410 standing and 304 seated (714 in total)

How does that compare to this stage last season

We didn't know which division we would be in till 31st May so I don't think they were on sale at this time last year. I think we can beat last years though.

I'm still confused about the kids tickets so they are £50 but if your standing you can get in for £3 per game with a paying adult meaning your child would need to attend 16.5 games, that really isn't great value and you are prob better paying the £3 if your kid is going to miss Tue night games etc.

However my issue is if I have a season ticket how do I get a £3 matchday ticket for my child I presume I am classed as a paying adult but there is no option on the website, does this mean I have to go into the club shop every time? or as a season ticket holder am I not a "paying adult" as such :?

Just had a look at the various seating plans and I've noticed that there are a number of Black seats reported as being unavailable especially in C1

Any thoughts as to why.... :?:

I can't remember the last time we had season tickets available so early so you can't compare anything to this season.

It's a good start and the sooner it reaches the targets for price reductions the sooner the momentum will take off and hopefully more tickets will be sold. The sooner this happens presumably the larger the war chest we can give Derek so dig deep folks and lets give the club the best chance of success we can provide!

To be fair we've got until late July to buy, unless you're securing a specific seat, so that's like 2 or 3 pay days for most. Imagine a lot will be in the same boat as me and get them in a couple of months.

vvm, the only problem with your scenario is at what time D.A. knows his budget, if it based on S/T sales. Or can S/T's be ordered and paid for later ? !

If any club is basing this year’s budget on this year’s ST sales, then they’re run horrifically.

I don't really think Derek's budget will be affected by whether we sell say 1,750 or 2,000 season tickets. The difference in revenue is pretty trivial given the total revenue and players' wage bill.

Derek will have been given a figure based on forecasts/projections as he needs to know now rather than faffing around waiting until the Summer when it's too late (as Robbo found out last year) to bring in the quality signings we need.

I'd like to think Derek's budget will have been "supercharged" by some of the monies received in the last season such as player sales, cup runs, etc which wouldn't have been planned for/forecasted for last Summer and may not have been received by the time the January transfer window closed so will be still sat in the bank? We also have to factor in the EFL rules about players' wages in total compared with total club income etc.

Against all that, unlike Robbo, I'd expect Derek to be aware that the "windfalls" may not happen again, and so it's a dangerous game to contract players for more than a season just in case we don't sell any players and don't have any cup runs/televised games, etc. Derek will have to keep a "cushion" in case of lower income than expected and of course to bring in loanees/new signings in January in case the team doesn't work and/or to cover injuries etc.

Projecting/forecasting is complicated. An extra or loss of a couple of hundred season tickets at an average of £150 is maybe the difference of an extra player (youngster or bench warmer) at most and won't pay for anyone decent at this level.

Exactly! I can’t remember the last time we had season tickets for sale this early so it’s a good start. Hopefully a steady climb now to two thousand and beyond.

If we get anywhere close to the 2500 sold last season it will be a great effort

3000 would be fantastic for a small town like Morecambe in my humble opinion

Latest count up to May 27 (Friday) was Standing 771 and Seated 665 making a total of 1436.

Can't recall as many season tickets ever sold with just 2 months to start of ANOTHER season in EFL1 on July 30.

Excellent.

Redrobo, I would confidently say that todays figures, apart from last season, will be about twice as many as ever sold before(I’m not including free/complimentary season tickets in my guesstimate of previous years, you will removed that a great many were given away with the Heysham Port and Power station schemes

It will be pay day for quite a few today. I would expect the 1000 target for Standing to be hit at some point this week. :D
