Their top assister and since Hugill has gone to West Ham, their top scorer as well so I think there’s very little chance of a loan back

Just watching an exciting Blackburn v Wigan game on Sky and, soon after he comes on with 10 mins to go at 2-2 and picks up a loose Rovers pass in midfield with a clear sight on goal, the commentator says "That's gone straight to David Perkins... Not known for scoring from 50 yards"

New Carlisle signing and former Shrimp Cole Stockton was relegated to the subs bench for yesterdays win over Grimsby.

Excellent result for us providing we can capitalise on our games in hand.

But as Jim says, points on the board are better than games in hand.

I think even the most pessimistic of us would be happier with being just one point behind with 3 games in hand and a better goal difference, thing is now that Chesterfield will also have been given a lease of life from Grimsbys failings and one of their games in hand is against ........

The Carlisle fans think Stockton is useless. Maybe one of those players that only plays well at Morecambe ! Shaun Miller , Jesus , Carlton etc

Southport away boxing day 2006, a late Adam Yates goal sees us come back from a goal down with ten men to win. Carl Baker scored against us that day.

We were down to ten, was it Perks sent off.
We scabbed it that day, Jesus equaliser from Jimbo's back postbheader was out of play and Yates cross went in! Scouseport never recovered, we went up, they went down!!

Was my first Morecambe away game! :D was a great performance to come back, Blackburn’s goal was thumping and I remember Yates had a blinder. Baker was incredible that day, probably what helped set off his move to us at the end of the season!

Out of Play ! I was in the crowd behind the goal and Jim was nearly amongst us when he headed it back.

Seriously he must have been 2 yards over the bye-line when he headed it to Jesus.
