Character assassinations not allowed but slagging off a whole town's OK. Oh what mixed standards you have.

Not at all and I won't be posting in this thread again, it's too good a thread to be diverted but it is annoying when the Child claims they're being assissanated in one thread then posts something like this.

Scott Davies lifts the Bob Lord Trophy at Wembley for the 2nd time as Tranmere win the Conference Play-Off Final, having been down to 10 men since the first minute but still managing to beat Boreham Wood 2-1.

Think Tranmere could be a force to be reckoned with next season having come back from quite a poor start this. Much of that due to Scott Davies's contribution.

"League Two champions Accrington Stanley have offered new deals to four players, including goalkeeper Aaron Chapman and midfielder Scott Brown.

Chapman, 27, kept 18 clean sheets last season, while ex-Southport and Bristol City man Brown, 33, has been a regular since joining from Grimsby in 2016.

The club will exercise options to extend the deals of five players, including defender Mark Hughes."

Pity! Perhaps being released by Tranmere and seemingly going nowhere might have changed his attitude :?:

Shwan Jalal has signed for Chesterfield:

Jalal, 34, was released by champions Macclesfield despite being named in the National League team of the year.

"Shwan has just won this division, playing 41 games and I think it's important to have a solid, reliable and decent keeper," manager Martin Allen
