Thanks, totally agree with you as Mr Fittons statement makes "we have more in common than that which divides us"

That was something to do with Corbyn,The Labour party and the old Soviet Russia

Actually, although it became commonly heard after the sad murder of Jo Cox, it was actually from one of the best political dramas ever.

West Wing: Season 5, Episode 1.

"The things that unite us are far greater than the things that divide us".
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

I will respect the forum rules and not go off topic and derail the thread. One really good O/T thread "Word Association" has already been closed by Site Admin due to your antics which spoils it for the majority.

If you want to continue with your non football character assassination mission Mr Sheldon then adhere to the site rules and create the relevant thread. For instance you provide the Visitor on line link of the article of when the Police were called out at that Town Hall meeting, which by the way you cannot read unless you register your contact details with Johnston Press which I have done, on a thread titled "Players not paid". So if you wish to continue create the relevant off topic thread title.

What I cannot understand is why Site Admi/moderators allow the breach of the rules to continue.
I will not be engaging with any of you in future if it not relevant to the thread topic.

So with respect to the club. all forum users, the site rules, and the creator of an important club issue Posh I'm putting it back on the rails -

Freez, aresoles aside, there's an unfounded accusation of theft naming individuals. If it's incorrect and can't be backed up with evidence, it could be a serious problem for the admins, especially Keith as the host, for allowing it to remain. I'm not just saying this because of the author.

Players were told there would be a delay after getting off the MK coach as a transfer of funds had not occured, any loss to the players was covered.
There was a split decision as to whether this should have been announced publicly at the time to quash the rumours in advance.

Players not paid again on time? Is that two months in a row now?

Strange after the club's AGM and the Fans' Forum that followed were both told that the bank overdraft had been cleared.

Technicality maybe but this doesn't help Jim when he is trying to persuade players to sign.

The owners gave the reasons at the forum for last month, to happen again particularly in December is shabby imo. It has been acknowledged by other players too.

Rod did say last time that anyone out of pocket would be reimbursed, but we don't need all this again.

If it doesnt go in today then it's likely to be when the transfer window opens :o

Not sure it's a good idea for players to use social media for this kind of thing. Many employers, including mine, consider disciplinary procedures when an employee posts something that portrays the company in a negative light and understandably so! Hope they get paid promptly and everyone can move on.

Yes indeed Andy, but good luck with that one, how many sicknotes will there be i wonder.

The players venting frustration on media is quite understandable considering and Im sure Kev would have put it into more colourful words if he was face to face with the person who hasnt pressed a button.

Your employer finds it funny that one of your colleagues has a Fuck The Tories badge next to the logo on a kit bag. Employers are strange beasts but as long as employees are stating facts, little the employer can do.

I thought at the August meeting with the new owners we were told enough money had been deposited to cover expenses for the next two years! What has happened to cause this problem for the second month in a row?

I wished we got the truth because this is raising its ugly head again. I dread to think were this is going to lead if it contines for another year and a half of promised investment by the two. Do we want to end up like Rushden & Diamonds, no we don't.

Now our bank is in the black and not in the red, the auto payment arrangements no longer take place (with fees of course), so we are simply not used to it as the parameters have changed. Its not that there is no money in the pot, its the lack of someone somewhere not transferring the money into the players wages pot

Could be something in what marky posted above in a previous thread.

This IS a new situation for the club to be in and could be down simply to an administrative error either at eh bank or at the club.

I expect better from Kev making news like this public. He is one of the more experienced too.

Really pleased to here that all have been paid.
Agree with you MfcChris. Nothing positive was to be gained by Kev doing what he did. It surely can’t have actually made him feel better about the situation. :?: :?:

Surprised that Kevin acted in that way, but as we know he likes a joke now and then and I wonder if it was just him having a bit of a laugh by posting the picture as he did. I'd like to think that if there was a REAL problem then he would have made a direct approach and not via this forum.

Sounds to me as though there has been an admin cock up at the Bank and NOT at our end. These things can happen at any Bank especially when it's used to us being in the red and not the black.
