i'am from the strikers.

a strong case to also suggest Mullin is an impact sub, and doesn't look the same over 90mins, we'll have to see how he goes this season.

7 points from 15 is not a bad start to say we have played Wycombe,Portsmouth,Accrington,Hartlepool and Notts County

The way we're going with injuries and suspensions, Tuesday may have more of Drummie's lads playing than first teamers on Tuesday :?

looked about 300, I expected more to say they have never been to the Globe before, and lot of fans always like to go to new grounds to tick off the old bucket list.

they brought about 450 I would say, they had a lot in a section of the main stand plus at least 200 in the away end, I think there looked to be around 1500/1600 intotal?

Well that makes less than 1200 home fans for a Bank Holiday fixture. Really worrying but at least decent win. Hopefully crowds will pick up if we keep scoring and winning games.

Poor home numbers, vocally non existent until we went 2-1 up and decided actually we are all supporting the same team. Shame that most of those who create the atmosphere have been banned from the ground. Overzealous stewarding not helping matters, God help them if they actually encountered any real football hooliganism.

Think we will play better than today and lose, but given the suspensions and injuries sustained, it is a fantastic result. All very well taken goals.

If you are going on Tuesday, bring your boots.

I was next to the away end and opposite the away seating, didn't look more than 150 in the seating.

a few stewards I know think things could have been dealt with lot better.

think 6 got banning orders for the smoke bomb.

only kids, trying to have a laugh. should have given them a stern warning. IMO.

Superb result!!

Lows are the injury to Beels which could be "months" I've read on Twitter?

Poor atmosphere in the home end....

Cracking result - roll on Tuesday and Walsall.

Thought we were the poorer team to be honest and they attacked better than us.

Astounded we won by such a big margin but will take the smooth with the rough as thought we deserved to beat Wycombe :D

It's certainly not a lack of entertainment that's keeping the fans away.

I thought there were only around 1400 at the wycombe game?

we always sit next to the away fans, can't remember the official figures but i am sure the overall attendance was a couple of hundred less than today.

Again, we didn't play especially well yet we won. But it makes up for the times we play well and lose so I feel we deserve this. Great to score a hatfull of goals, feels like ages since we've done that at home. Well done lads.

Bollocks. The 'stern warning' time was a couple of seasons ago. When I arrived at Hartlepool I was told they had extra stewards on and were being particularly strict on where our fans could go "because we've been warned about your trouble-makers". This 'warning' about a club that used to have a fantastic reputation for being trouble free and friendly wherever we went.

They had their chance to 'grow up' and behave but they've chosen not to. I hope their banning orders are for a very long time, football and Morecambe in particular, doesn't need them.

They had a defender, number 32, who was the worst professional footballer I have ever seen...the last time they visited Morecambe. Judging by one of their fans outside the Flyer before the game, they think the same - the shirt had the number 32 on the back, with the lettering 'R Sol Campbell'.

The numbers have been reducing for a few seasons as fans have drifted away, arguably due to the poor match day experience. Looking at the on-screen match booking pages and also the blank stickers on the seats, it's clear that a sizeable number of season ticket holders didn't renew this summer - that's very worrying!

It will take a while for the previous regulars to start to come back, even if every game is entertaining - they'll have moved on to get into the habit of doing something else instead. Main thing is to stop the numbers declining further and then hopefully, the crowds will start to grow again. From the first few matches, the "on-pitch" part of the match day is looking brilliant, so when word starts to spread, we will hopefully see some familiar faces re-appear and some new faces.

Hopefully the new catering van is one of many new initiatives to improve the "off pitch" match day experience. The past is the past and we are where we are. We've got the management team and the players in place this season, so onwards and upwards. More good games than bad, and a better overall match day experience, and the crowds will start to improve again.
