just got back, that team today, apart from Wildig in for Kenyon(who played well) is our strongest 11

we was even playing 4 2 4 at times on the break

now Jim, stop doing to much tinkering, same again, its thrilling stuff when we play like this. :D

Would like to say that today Ellison was a man possessed in a good way. I do not think I've have ever seen him chasing back and tackling as much as he did today. Jamie Dev is now I think I saw somewhere the player with the most assists in English top 4 leagues. Great result and play from all the team. Also nice to have a quid on Mrs O's prediction ;)

I know that a few weeks back Jamie Devitt had more assists than any players from Premier League to League 2. Whether he still has I don't know but he is sure to be attracting attention from scouts.

We could do with securing a few players who are in the last year of their contracts such as Devitt and Miller.

Miller since he broke his goal duck, has certainly grown in confidence.

I really like Wildig, but I think Kenyon (who played well) solidifies the central midfield more. With creative & quick attacking players elsewhere on the pitch, I'd be keeping Kenyon in the side at the moment.

So how did that work out then?

Not for me Keith , he gave the ball away to Carlisle more than any other player yesterday and almost handed them a second goal with a lazy back header right into the path of their striker but Paz and Baz mopped up.

Can't argue with his poor delivery, on at least three occasions he did wilfully hoof it straight down the field. However, on each occasion have had just made an important tackle, header or interception, which is surely what he's in there for?
If he was capable of doing both, he surely wouldn't be playing for us in League Two!!

Sometimes the bigger picture needs to be mentioned.
Paz gave it away just as much, but after doing his main job, defending.
Three weeks ago there was a witch hunt on here for Kev, yet three of his last four performances have been excellent!
What do we know??? :D

Young A/J will be gaining some good experience at left back with wilson out.

McGowan has done better in these last two games than Wilson has done all season. He looks good an composed on the ball rarely gives it away, a lot better going forward and more solid an organised aswel ! Considering he's playing out of position being a right back if he keeps this up he'll make the place his own !
