Glad I chose to stay at home and catch up on the BTCC...
May the fork be with you....

She bit her lip and breathed in deeply as I forced myself in. No doubt about it - if I didn't lose weight, I'd need to get a bigger shed.

Total disgrace. A piss poor team ripped us to bits today. Do not bother using the word budget as an excuse. Do not tell me this is our level. Do not tell me that Jim loves the cluband there is nobody better. Jim Bentley needs to be sacked tonight.

That's harsh. Freez & Downsy might be a bit goofball but they try their best...

Fair play to the fans that chanted Bentley out. You will be made out to be disloyal and negative but you are spot on.

A friend that hadn't been to a Morecambe game probably since the Christie Park days had free tickets to the game today. His comments at full time: "well, at least it's over", "makes you angry to think we could have spent £50 to watch that".

The club is a shambles from top to bottom. Jim needs to go, it won't solve everything but it might extend our stay in the football league beyond next season.

We concede and we think we need to score straight away, but we don't. Sometimes we should just shut up shop for a few minutes, but we don't and then we concede another.
We can only apologise to the fans. Earlier this season we went through nine games without winning but the performances were good so you can take it to an extent but performances lately just haven't been good enough.
We need to go [to Exeter] and roll up our sleeves and put in a performance"

These aren't direct quotes, I was typing as fast as I could. It gives the gist of it...

Fair play to the guys for coming out and talking to Quinny. Both sounded completely gutted and upset. It doesn't sound like Jim's "lost the dressing room" as some were suggesting. But they sounded as much of a loss as the rest of us as to what has been going wrong. Jamie said something along the lines of "lots of us [players] are out of contract and don't know if we've got a job next season. Well, most of us don't know".

Then they need telling in no uncertain terms that being gutted and upset is not going to get them out of mess the Team are at the moment. They've got to get some backbone, get angry with themselves, and fight for every ball. Only fierce determination and hard work will get them anything now not getting gutted and depressed about it. Life is hard.....get on with it
