FFS Jim, York are not a good side, on the counter attack or otherwise. Please STOP TRYING NOT TO LOSE! We're not winning games by trying to nick a goal. It hasn't worked since we began playing like that. Last game of the season, against bottom of the league and yet again we only began playing when we went a goal down? Thank goodness this season is over. Please don't start the next one in the way we've ended this one.

Great plan that Jim. They could of scored, probably should of scored, three goals in the second half.

It's probably the fact that they couldn't score three in the second half that is consigned them to non-league football next season.

I don't think I've ever felt so happy to see the end of a season and so low in confidence at the end of it :-(

In the after match interview Jim gave the impression that we had been playing Barcelona.

FFS Jim , Accrington beat them 3-0 without getting out of 2nd gear.

The York players looked like they couldn't care less what was happening and we still couldn't beat them.

It is what it is ,fine lines and all that  truth is both of em haven't got a clue how to change and organize as the season progresses
We had a good squad throughout the season that were more than capable of finishing in a respectable position but tinkering by both have led to a very dismal performance on the pitch

There was some good play from us, and yes some dodgy defending but we had our moments and it was a great strike from Devitt.

Jims speech was honest but will attract criticism as he trotted out the usual about 'injuries', 'bad luck' etc. I don't disagree that we've had bad luck and injuries which have affected us but I feel that Jim has said his piece on the matter and he doesn't need to keep repeating it and trying to justify everything. He should have just kept it short and sweet, thanked the supporters and left it at that.

Anyway, let's try to be positive for next season regardless of whom you'd have as manager, whom you'd sign/release etc.

Cracking goal from Jamie Devitt !!

As has been mentioned, York players looked like they couldn't be arsed, with the exception of Lewis Allessandra who had a good game. How bloody tall was their captain/their centre half??!!!! :o That's exactly what WE need in the heart of our defence - some stocky height!!

Yes, just to add I agree that York were woeful and looked barely good enough for Sunday League.

Open goal misses and a defence that panics when the ball gets hoofed at them (a bit like us).

They certainly missed 2 or 3 open goals !! I always love watching fans reactions when that happens and the York fans were incredulous!!

A good but somewhat isolated period of play by our lads where the ball was played to feet on the ground with good interchanging and passing resulted in our solitary but excellent Jamie Devit goal. I like others celebrated the goal but made a comment of congratulations for the way it was played only for both the manager and the General Manager to look daggers at me and told me to shut up.

That for me summed up our style of play favoured by the management team going forward. In other words it's the long ball over the top that is preferred which in my opinion has been a contributing factor in the decline in our gates.

Sad..very sad....

It had that end of season feeling about it.... I thought York were arsed at points. There wasn't many challenges from either team. Wildigg could have had a hatrick, devitts goal was class
