Diego is also a director of a company called sport99 ltd, with his friend Jordan Burnard, the Burnard family are a dodgy bunch from gateshead, surprised none of you have mentioned this connection yet.

That's near Madame Tussauds, about £6000 a month those apartments. Might pop round later if the shops don't take over 8-)

The more this story unravels the more surprised I am that our club in the form of PMG fell for it. Obviously few checks made on the buyers.

Very very strange all this. Sport99 appears to have been set up for our take over imo

Considering the "wealthy" new owners used some small unknown asset finance broker from the North East as their "advisors", it does look as if their idea was always to borrow money on the ground, the stadium, the plant/equipment, etc via mortgages/re-leasing, rather than put money in themselves. I was surprised at the time, any genuinely wealthy buyers would be using the large respectable solicitors/accountants as their advisors, not what appears to be some small-time brokers. I hope that they havn't actually done any loans/lease back deals and just pocketed the money leaving the club worse off than before. I think we can just about live with things being put back to where they were in Summer, i.e. PMG majority shareholder again, but if someone's raped the club by taking out loans/leases and walking off with the money, we really are done.

This has to be the biggest worry. If your scenario is more or less right and anyone had planned to do this surely they would have acted on it quickly :?

Companies house are processing a second entry for Abdulrahman's termination (as a director). Document being processed, available in 5 days. Not seen that before.

First one was an electronic submission so virtually instantly on the system probably submitted by whoever holds the authentication code at MFC. The second is probably a paper version, maybe sent to Co House directly by Abdul himself and could have been posted before the electronic one was done - Co House take 2/3 days to process their incoming mail.

I had heard that Diego 'Lucan' was also a new appointed Director of PMG International who own the facilities behind the Globe Arena. Wonder what will happen to his interests there as well.... :?:

We don't know if PMG sold his shareholding in PMG Leisure to Diego.

We know that some of our original speculation is true. We know we are in pretty bad trouble. We know that Abdul has resigned and that Diego is probably still out of the country.

We know that the board have confirmed some of our suspicions and that they say they can reveal no more yet for legal reasons. Frustrating I know but we will have to wait for more details.

But many on here have been making positive suggestions and it appears that we are not as fragmented as we were, plus many of the directors are calling on solidarity in support of the team. Looks like we are going to need plenty of solidarity, strong will and effort in the short to medium term and a strong belief that MFC can be saved.

Yes, okay, but apart from knowing the original speculation was true, we're in pretty bad trouble, the board can't reveal anything for legal reasons, we're not as fragmented as before and the directors are calling for solidarity... ...we don't know anything and that's the problem!

Actually, serious point, which I will probably end up repeating, the board cannot reveal anything else for legal reasons. Therefore WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL that anything written here, in a speculative manner, has to be legal.

On the basis that we're second guessing at best, please don't let the frustrations about the current situation take over from common sense.

From the Fans's Club statement it sounds like Abdul is an innocent party and could potentially be an investor in the future once all the legal stuff is sorted out with Diego.

Time to pull together. I am getting a half season ticket today and I encourage any others who haven't got one to do the same. COYS!

Going to quote myself here.

Posh wrote:I''m surprised by the Abdullah has been conned story. Doesn't ring true for a number of reasons. Firstly, he was part of the bid for St Mirren and then us. He may be young but he's a Director of a large company and was a part of a tech company that also seems to have gone a bit wrong.

Had a long conversation with a Director of Morecambe FC today who is happy for certain information to be shared. Abdullah is an innocent party in all this. May be naivety but he was conned like others and deeply regrets having been caught up in all this and he wishes the club well.

Posh wrote:This also implies that Diego is some mastermind conman. He looks like a bloke who likes pies and beers but let's assume he is. This would involve having the ability to setup front companies based in the North East of England and knowing brokers in Middlesbrough. If he's a conman then he must be working with someone here or someone is pulling the strings.

It seems this part is true. As Mr PH has indicated and many have known for some time there are other people involved with Diego who've been party to all this from the start. Diego himself "couldn't run a tea bar" and it has needed the work of several others.

The whole thing would actually be funnier than any stunt on ''you've been framed'', if it happened to Accy or Barrow

It did happen to Barrow when the crook, Stephen Vaughan and his drug dealing mate nearly drove them out of business. It wasn't at all funny.

Is there any proof that Diego Lemos has even left the country? Is there any proof that Diego Lemos is his real name? Posh mentioned when the deal went through, that it was strange thst Diego had no social footprint. The whole thing is a complete disaster.

New thread perhaps? What now!!!

Just wondering why Diego is staying in Qatar. Is he safe from legal redress there or does it just slow the legal process down and inevitably make it more expensive?
