I was also chuffed when we signed McGurk, but then disappointed to see him wasted in an attacking midfield role. He's a striker who hasn't been given the time or opportunity to play in his best position. I really don't think he's over-rated, just not being utilised properly. He's also only had 21 minutes since he came off at halftime on the 16th Dec.

McGurk has 4 league goals from 17 appearances (0.24 goals per game)
Oliver 3 from 23 (0.13 gpg)
Lang 5 from 15 (0.33 gpg)
Campbell 1 from 17 (0.06 gpg)
Thompson 3 from 25 (0.12 gpg)
Ellison 2 from 10 (0.20 gpg)

The stats point towards McGurk and Lang being our most potent strikers, yet I can't remember the last time they played together, and they certainly haven't played as front two together that I can remember.

On Kenyon - love his passion, hate his passing! If he stopped giving the ball away cheaply I reckon he'd be one of the best at our level and probably able to play in a higher league.

The trouble is that Jim does not know where to play certain players, for example Campbell who does not get much gametime, the lad must find it difficult sitting on the bench. Also McGurk who in my opinion is a very good player and probably our most gifted player technically, yet he is out of favour as well.
