World Cup.

It just looks really lazy. A list minute effort after it being mentioned on here with no thought put in to it all. If the people who run the club and the people who are paid to bring money in to the club are not arsed, why should us mere fans be arsed?

The problem as I see it as we are a rudderless ship. Nobody has an overall picture of what can and needs to been done to organise things like this.
To announce it Friday night is ludicrous, I as most, have organised to go with friends and family elsewhere and at this late stage am not changing that.
The draw was made last December, it's not exactly hard to envisage what will be need on such a night even a few weeks before.
However, with no one to take responsibility, it hasn't happened.
Shame.
I watched 90, 94, 98, 02, 06 in JB's, hopefully they will sort something out for the other games.

Should the commercial Manager not organise and promote things like this.

The cricket club don't even have a commercial Manager that I am aware of and they manage it.

Do the mangers and match officials write a report on the game, in the same way as at club level because that ref was terrible.

I thought the commentator said that the Harry Kane incident had been referred to the VDR but almost instantly the game carried on with no further mention.

According to a comment in the Japan match, once play starts again, that ceases the VAR check so it wouldn't be mentioned again.

What's the point of a VAR check if play then starts and cancels it? Surely reasonable time should be given for the check to be carried out!

How was the match at JB's? Wish I was there. The proprietor of our UK shop (because we have those) organized a local viewing and we had a couple dozen people there.

There is a photo of The Local Choice Suite on Twitter that shows it all set out for tomorrows game. Looks really good, great effort.

Yes , let's hope they keep this going and build on it.

It looks certain England will be through to the knock out stage so put a big promotion on for that and any subsequent rounds.

There can't be many bigger screens in town bigger than the one in there. A good atmosphere with some decent offers along with the screen must make it an option.

I thought the club put a good day on for families today in the local choice suite, food was well priced and plenty of low cost entertainment for the kids. Not sure how the draw will pan out but if England play again at a weekend I'll go there again (due to kids will have to stay home for midweek games). Our commercial side gets plenty of stick (rightly so a lot of the time), so felt the need to post something positive.

The price of food was a pleasant surprise today kids chicken nuggets and chips £2, it's normally £3.50 for a hotdog out of a tin on match days.
