No, it doesn’t get points but it shows that we weren’t rolled over and with a little luck we’d have got something out of the game.

We all realise that. We just disagree with what to do about it. Some people think spending money we don't have on sacking the manager and bringing someone else in who hasn't got any money to spend is better than spending money we haven't got on a centre forward who knows how to shoot.
Both scenarios depend upon spending money we don't have.

I kind of almost agree with you... almost! Which of our strikers do you think would be first choice at any other League Two club?
I agree that the real problem is midfield not generally creating opportunities or offering support for the defence either. I've said elsewhere that Wildig & Tutte have been very poor. I'm not sure O'Sullivan was MotM today, although he was better than most of the season. Brewitt had a good game, even before scoring. So okay, if we were able to bring in another player, then a decent midfielder would probably be top of the list, but someone who had the confidence in front of goal would make a difference. Look at the goals Miller scored previously. Now he looks shot-shy and trying for a pass rather than a run & shoot. If he could get a couple under his belt, I think he would fly again.
Lavelle, Brewitt or Tanner MotoM for me today.

Not exactly what you want on your CV.
