You realise it is a full article in a national newspaper ABOUT MORECAMBE??? It is what non-Morecambe fans will be reading about our club, so I reckon it is relevant to us, don't you?

For me it's the difference between those that see and meet their football family most weeks and those that don't . Strong bonds are made, but don't get too attached.
I don't think Derek will have that same bond, but time may tell, can't be easy fitting in those size 11's

I appreciate Jim was not treated wonderfully by the new owners, but I think they were well within their rights to hold off on a contract extension considering our league position/form.

I don’t think it would have mattered, whatever newspaper it was in GS. The thoughts, opinions, arguments etc, etc, just simmer gently, until somebody posts something, from either side of the “debate,” and that sparks it all back.

I've done critical analysis of the the paper while studying for a degree in journalism. That's obviously not the be all and end all of everything, but I think it does justify me forming an opinion on it.

You don't have to agree with me at all GS, but you should probably rethink your inference that I'm basing my opinion on what 'keyboard warriors' say

First you try to claim I'm just going off what keyboard warriors say, and now you're trying to insinuate that I've just had my head filled with opinions by a lecturer. I looked through articles myself, did some research and background reading then drew a conclusion from that - that's basically how it works with most things like this.
