Record crowd today?

A couple of years ago they would announce th crowd as 1007 and we would say they must've counted everyone twice, now everyones saying theyre over estimating the crowd again! Where would another 1000+ have fitted in on saturday? 300-500 more yes but not over a thousand more. Either way it's great to see a crowd packed in instead of having to shout to your nearest fellow spectators! :)
Don't worry be happy!

I know the club gave some free tickets away to the residents of the Langridge estate on Westgate.

It's come to something when the only questions being asked are about the actual attendance....

Get bloody real....just be thankful that we got over 5000 rather than the 350 when we went through a bad patch in the late 50's early 60's....then some would question if our club had a future.....

I can well recall gates of 350 being the norm....

We went through a stage of not announcing it at all because it was too embarrassing

You clearly didn’t read the thread but maybe something has lost on me here but is there anything wrong with discussing the crowd and how many were in?

This was quite a civilised conversation until you came in telling to people to ‘get real’ with your rolling eyes emojis.... Anyway I guess there always has to be one...

Not sure how anybody can say with any real evidence that the crowd on Saturday was probably 500 -1000 less than given.

The Berlin Wall has never been as full for many a season.

Let's just agree that for us to get 5000+ is something that 12 months ago we could only dream of... :)

Go back just under 3.5 years and you get this...

The attendance at the Globe Arena tonight is 893, with 52 travelling #ColU fans. A massive thanks to those who have travelled

And now look at us!!! :D

Just from what I saw the amount of empy seats and a few more crammed in the standing area, but I could be wrong I am not a regular match goer.

And I agree with the latter point!!
