908 standing and 904 seated.I think that’s already more seated sold than last season. With away seats and other things such as hospitality and the seats that need to be kept empty I wonder how many are available to home fans to purchase? Might sell out!

Tremendous effort so far!

According to the online seating plan, only 66 seats left so looks impossible to get to the 1,000 trigger unless they release some of the blacked out seats.

I'd imagine that there won't be many more seats sold, is there enough left to actually hit the 1000? Another 500 or 600 standing would be a fine effort.

Well, given that they're marketing a price drop at 1,000 seats sold, they'll have to make 1,000 available or fall foul of trading standards etc (or whatever it's called now), so I presume they'll have to release some of the blacked out ones at some stage. There's a couple of full rows in block E that are blacked out, so releasing those would do it!

In that Podcast with our new CEO he confirmed that the wall at the rear of the Dennison Trailers away stand is to be raised to the ground. This may be to increase the capacity of the away end maybe in line with the home end meaning that we could just sell seats for away fans in the A section.

Just been announced on the club site that seated season tickets are being capped at 1,000. The price cut will be triggered at that point as well.

Last season we sold 1,626 standing season tickets so we are well on our way to beating that hopefully.

Then you have the problem of where the home fans in block B would go for refreshments. You’d have the away fans in Block A going down the concourse tunnel which would be surrounded by home seats who’d have to resort to the suite, and there’s not likely to be enough space in there for even more home fans.

Yes I had realised that. Portaloos and catering vans in the open bit in the corner maybe. Its a problem when there is only one stand with seating.

Most of Block B if also for away fans. It's split with the black netting and if I remember rightly, only a few seats right at the end of the rows adjacent to C1 block, so they'd get in and out via the Suite if anyone was seated there, but I can't recall ever seeing those end seats available on the online booking - home seats are just C1 through to E.

I remember in the early days home and away fans shared the concourse. Watched a game vs Bristol rovers in B block and there wasn't any segregation. Some of their fans were quite aggressive, so you can't really share. Maybe a catering area could be built in the corner?

Only 37 seats left on the website, so they must have sold 963 seats now if there are 1,000 in total.

If they don't sell all the remaining 37, a few seated fans need to get together to buy the remaining ones to secure the price reduction for everyone. It would be silly to get to, say, 990 and for all those to have to pay the higher price when so close! Surely there'll be quite a few people with grandchildren or nieces/nephews who go occasionally so it's worth it for everyone if a few people buy an extra child's ticket at just £70 and people they know "chip in" towards the cost!

(Of course, would be even better for the club to honour the discounted price if close enough so they'd have a few seats left to sell for each match as one-offs!)

With Friday being payday for many, the targets could be reached later today. Or it could be the end of the month.

When you look on the seat map on the ticket page there is only 27 available seats left to purchase and has been for a few days , yet we need 39 to reach the next price drop !.
Hopefully this is just a delay in updating ! ;)

Very impressive numbers - for some perspective, the club announced the pricing structure for 21/22 season tickets on 18/06/21 last season.... so to have close to 2,000 at this point is fantastic. I've not renewed mine yet - and I know a few others are the same... so it'll be interesting to see where we end up (can we beat 2600 we had last season) and how many of the purchases are new ST holders.

Its not that long ago that the club struggled to get 1200 home fans (gates net of away support) - so it just goes to show how far the club has come in such a short period of time. I know performances on the pitch are a big contributing factor to this - but why we didn't try this sort of scheme years ago is beyond me.... it was suggested numerous times.

Great that we now have owners that let the BOD get on and try new things things to grow our support - and also that the composition of the board now lends itself to implementing these ideas. If we benchmark ourselves against Fleetwood and Accrington locally - they must be envious of the support that we are now attracting. It is remarkable. Well done everyone.

I'm surprised that the clubs mentioned above haven't tried a similar model. Could be that their owners pull all the strings with little if any decisions are taken by a BoD.

As of now current season ticket sales are ....

Seated 980

Standing 1031

Total 2011

Not bad at all and with 6 weeks till 1st league game 2500 should hopefully be achievable
