Sure someone said the other day there are no parachute payments.

I think we do keep the academy funding it's only when you fall out of the EFL that it goes.

Just shows you what an amazing job Derek has done with both hands tied behind his back. To take it to the last 30mins of the season is an unbelievable effort.

Read somewhere that relegated clubs from EFL1 to EFL2 get 12.5% of what an EFL1 club gets from the league.

My info could be wrong.... :?: :?: :?:

One part of the penultimate para of the statement seems particularly pointed to me:

Having seen such marked progress on and off the pitch since the beginning of 2020, through the collective effort of every single person associated with the Club, we urge Bond Group, who remain solely and completely in control of the sale process, to complete a suitable sale of the Club as quickly as possible to ensure we have the best possible opportunity to continue to grow as a football club and focal point for the community in the Morecambe and wider North Lancashire area.

Does that mean the EFL 'fit and proper person' decision has been made already, and BG are just dragging their feet, using the club as a cash cow?

I suspect the fit and proper person test has meant that Johal is unable to buy the club. His company accounts don't seem to support someone bidding millions for our club and anyone in the bit coin field seems to be especially scrutinised.

The interest paid by our BoD is staggering BUT does anybody have a figure of how much the Bond Group paid PMG for the privilege of owning OUR club.... :?: :?: :?:

The monies that they will have made both in any sale and in interest payments could be staggering..... :o

I think it was more a case of PMG being unable to pay a loan back and handing the keys over to a couple of pawn brokers

Our season ticket prices are still incredibly good value, Lancaster City FC, £150 for 23/24. Barrow £285 for Terrace, Main Stand £285. Wrexham FC over £335!! Crew Alex £365 Makes you wonder and worry we have our prices right.
