And his debut was delayed as their match was postponed just 40 minutes before kick off on Saturday.
This after Mickleover Sports FC had travelled four and a half hours to West Cumbria.

Yeah. He was great with us, even when played out of position. Really pleased for the lad.

How many of us would have dropped Jack Redshaw for Podge though? That's why he was constantly out of position & ultimately let go. He was a good player for us, I'd have him back in a heartbeat and I'm delighted that he's doing so well. But at the time, I can understand why he was let go. If we'd known Blackpool were interested in Redshaw, I'm sure we'd have kept him.

Oh for the benefit of hindsight....same applies for the stupidity of a certain former Director deciding to reduce the wages of a couple of out of contract players all to save a bob or two. The very same Director who had a major say in what the Globe finally became.
Wouldn't surprise me if he was party to letting Podge go as well.
He really has a lot to answer for....

I could be wrong but I thought Devitt got a straight red when playing for us.
No doubt one of our anoraks would know it that is correct.

He was on Jim's wanted list a couple of years ago and we couldn't get anywhere near his Eastleigh wages.
He may have lowered his expectations but Mickleover Sports must have a decent budget.

Ryan has just been interviewed by the Under the Cosh lads.
Edit....I have just sat through the podcast and really enjoyed it. Not for the easily offended but a good insight in to life as a league 2 footballer.
