85K transfer fee apparently, and he wanted to move home to Ireland for family reasons.

Not sure I fully understood how he came to leave us. If we offered him a contract, then did Cardiff pay us a fee? If we didn't offer a contract, then being released by us, then joining Cardiff was an interesting move.

Kevin has rejected Newport's coaching offer and has left to continue his playing career elsewhere.

He has had an incredible career and he certainly played his part in keeping us in the EFL. Some superb goals for us to remember , the winner against Rotherham , the winner against Yeovil , the 2 goals at Wycombe in a 4-2 win.

South Shields next (and possibly last ) port of call for Kevin....... :?: :?: :?:

Wherever out legend ends up we wish him well. Served OUR club superbly and fully deserves one final :?: move before moving into coaching... :)

Hopefully a good move for the lad. Only 23, so plenty of time, but not League One standard yet.

That doesn't mean they won't be loaned out again.

SeasideClaret will know better than us but I can't see Adam being a Burnley first team squad member this season. Bedeau will be nearer their first team after the loss of a couple of their defenders.

The game gave their new manager the opportunity to have a look at ALL his players before deciding what will happen about loans to whoever.

Isn't this an area that agents get involved by advising their charges to seek a loan to further their careers.

:?: :?: :?:

I'd be delighted if we got them both back PLUS Carlos from Luton who many of their supporters don't rate him at all. Carlos could benefit from a season long loan in EFL1 and no better manager to play under and to develop than our own.
