The new Charlton boss is keen to add centre back Ryan Edwards to his squad having already signed an additional centre back this close season. This could put pressure on Sam Lavelle who may not be in the new manager's plans as being first choice in the centre of Charlton's plans going forward.

I'm sure that DA is keeping abreast of developments at Charlton and i wonder if a loan back to us could be under review. Remember Sam did say that he would be back one day....possibly sooner than he thought.. :?: :?: :?:

Pure speculation on my part of course...but a word of caution as this is reported by Alan Nixon....;)

There's no way the majority of the teams in Div 1 can compete with that. To be fair when we went there last season there were 22,000 on and Portman Road still has a Premiership aura about it. Whether Leif is worth that sort of money is open to debate. Looked good going forward for Bournemouth on loan last season but left a lot of room at the back and was quickly shuffled out of the match day squad.

Just hope we will get some kind of sell on percentage which we can hopefully invest in strengthening our squad.

I've been in Ipswich the past few days I drove past Portman Road on Monday morning they were also having a fans day but you would have thought it was a match day, there were thousands there queueing down the street!

Markyno1, all will be revealed in the 2022-23 accounts, providing we only have the one incoming transfer fee, otherwise people will just have to speculate, although that’s not something the majority of SVers do!!

Letting Perks go when we did has to be one of the worst decisions we ever made on a player. What a career he has had. Great to see him still going strong at 40 years old.
