Former Shrimps Thread

Tbf, he wasn’t getting a game regularly and Rochdale were a division above us. Stabby obviously liked the look of Sorvel, Brannan, Stanners and Twissy more, and who can argue when we got promoted?
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but looking where we are now and the career Perks has had, we both seem to have done ok!!

He was played out of position by JH and Sammy Mac, both preferred to play him at left back. He turned into a pocket rocket of a midfielder when he left us. Can't argue with Sorvel and Brannan, both quality experienced midfielders at the time, and a big part of our promotion, Sorvel especially.

Great goal from Carlos last night - against Newport! Sadly Luton lost the game in the end.

Tough gig that Jim. John Coleman got slaughtered by their fans and ultimately driven out. Good luck!

Ayunga scores St Mirren's 2nd goal as they lead Celtic 2-0

Carson is keeping them out.

This is one match I don't mind Judas winning , a bit of Karma for the scummy Celtic fans with their banners.

Fair play to Kev, he turns 44 in February and is showing no signs of hanging up his boots. I recently read that he has taken up yoga. He could end up play until his 50s

I think Drummie attributed his long playing life to yoga too.
