We suffer, like most smaller clubs, from uncertainty, and offering two years deals to players when Robbo was in charge left us with little budget last season to play with.
Don’t think he was torn apart at Exeter, more of a change in formation and search for goals left him exposed, but we did suffer down both flanks to Exeters pace.
Good luck to him, good lad and very solid for Harrogate I’ll wager.

It wasn't so much how he was left exposed for me, it was how he was unable to track any runs at all. I'm not knocking him,.he was cultured on the ball and put in some cracking performances but he had a poor season last season. RA is correct in saying that Love got dogs abuse but Gibbo was lauded despite giving away similar goals.

Great signing for a good L2 side and I wish him well.

Which is exactly what we will be BUT I have to agree with BW that he had some poor games but NOT as many as Love who for me blamed all those around him rather than accept responsibility for some horrendous mistakes. Similar in many ways to the departed O'Connor.

Will be interesting to see how O'Connor and Gibbo play at Harrogate....without the 'w'...

I suspect that travelling to our club has become difficult by himself and Harrowgate is a far easier journey.

A sad loss but not irreplaceable.

Interesting spelling Neil. You know only posh people pronounce it like that? To most it's 'Arrogat, like arrogant without the 'n'.

*esus my man....don't you know that we people in St Orth are rather posh.....or are you one of the common folk.... :D ;) ;)

I live in an old estate worker's cottage, not the '80s/'90s commuter sprawl ;)

Am surprised that it would appear that to date Jenson Weir has not been snapped up by a club following his release from Brighton.

Surely his form with us last season suggests that he could be a valuable asset for a club in EFL1 and EFL2.

Would love him back with us but can't see it somehow....

Jenson signed a 3 year contract in July 2020 which by my reckoning means that he is out of contract this July as confirmed by the above. 23rd July to be exact.

I can't find Jenson on any list of released players but his dad is the Technical Director of the club! Perhaps there was an extension clause. Rather strange.
