On the bright side we must be due some compensation given his age and the fact we offered an improved deal?

Might pay HMRC?

The compensation fee is to be decided at a tribunal.

The speed they move at I would like to think the HMRC V.A.T. will be settled long before then !

Good luck to JJ at EFL1 club Lincoln.

4 year deal is unbelievable but shows how much they value their new addition.

Hope that the compensation comes close to our valuation but somehow suspect it will fall short by some distance.

Thankfully we will not come up against him next season but going forward.... :?: :?: :?:

Wonder who else of our former players ahve got new clubs or will some be returning to the Maz under DA once again... :?: :?: :?:

Hopefully news today of new signings....

I would be amazed if we see Rawson or Tutonda turn up for training with us. Hope I am wrong.

Now rumours that Charlie Brown is on his way to Bradford for £75,000.

This is a player Derek didn't give much game time to so not impossible.

I wouldn't read too much into that specific rumour, it's just one of those twitter pages that makes up about 10 random rumours a day with no substance.

Shame about that but I'm sure DA has signed a more than adequate replacement as he will have done in all other positions.

Would be nice if a couple of last seasons favourites returned.... :)

Former loanee Alfie McCalmont has been granted his wish to leave Carlisle.

Wonder if he could be on his way to the Maz as I think it was DA who brought him to the club in the first place and as we know DA likes to bring in players who he has already worked with ie Slew and Songo to name but two.

I was disappointed with him when he was on loan here. Not for me but if the King wants him then I would bow to his superior knowledge.

He was a Stephen Robinson signing wasn't he? Don't think Derek rated him at all as I can hardly remember him getting a game for us once he came back.

Yes, a Robinson signing. Derek bombed him and Callum Jones out fairly quickly.

Good move for both parties BUT I wished and hoped that he would return to the Maz but in truth never going to happen.

Understand that there are rumours that we are about to sign on loan a striker.... :?: :?: :?:

IF whoever he is... is as successful as Michael was under DA then superb..... :!: :!: :!:

And to think Connor Pye was being tracked and monitored by Sunderland whilst he was at Morecambe.

Now he’s playing in the North West Counties League.
