On the bright side we must be due some compensation given his age and the fact we offered an improved deal?

Might pay HMRC?

The compensation fee is to be decided at a tribunal.

The speed they move at I would like to think the HMRC V.A.T. will be settled long before then !

Hope that the compensation comes close to our valuation but somehow suspect it will fall short by some distance.

Thankfully we will not come up against him next season but going forward....

This is a player Derek didn't give much game time to so not impossible.
