When are the players and staff due to be paid ? If we can't pay them this month then how the hell are we suppose to bring players in in January ? We're nailed on for relegation if this happens again this month !

From what has been said on here they should be paid on the 28th but even if they are paid I suspect we can forget about anyone new coming in in January. Best case scenario is that we retain those we have if we possibly can and hope for things to settle down with some decent results.

If the wages go through without hitch on December 28th then the January wages also should go through ok.

January is the month when the 2nd half of one of the EFL TV etc money goes into the bank and it is in the region of £150,000/£160,000. Add to this the monthly payment of EFL money in the region of £36,000 to £40,000 then wages look safe till at least the end of February. The only problem with this is that the PFA may take some of the money towards their loan.

We were nailed on for relegation in August. I think most of us accepted we probably would be relegated this season, I know I accepted it.

Radio Accrington just said that the Morecambe players and staff got 50% of their wages today which is early and the other 50% will be paid on the proper due date of 28th December.

That's excellent and will no doubt be welcome news to the staff and players.

I do have a worry however that [edit: be careful how you share your 'worries']. I'm probably worrying needlessly but given the news of... [Also edited]

Lets hope that the other Directors have been in touch with the clubs Bankers and issued a hold on all expenditure unless verified by PMcG.

Well the name of the North East based individual who was reportably the instigator of the deal involving Diego follwoing their collective failure at St Mirran was posted on SVs so warnings about them were there for all to read.

However such info only came to light after the deal was done as I understand it.
