Nowt wrong with the Conference... Been there before and we had fun. As long as we have a MFC I don't mind too much which division we're in as long as we have football and each other... 8-)

To add to Freez's long list we should have had a free kick in the build up to their second goal. Ref spotted the dive but signalled play on despite us defending.

There were loads more. Cheltenham player takes the ball over the line no throw in. Baz kicks the ball out on the halfway line. Player attempts the throw in 20 yards down the line. Rose says to the ref who ignores him so Mullers knocks the ball out of his hand.

The most incompetent refereeing performance since the days of Alfie Conn 18 years ago.

Agree also on Masanka and Molyneux. Finished the game with 7 after threatening to destroy them in the first 20 minutes.

Have to agree that Massanka looked out of his depth BUT he was up there on his own with little or no support.

However what can't be excused is the terrible defending once again for the second goal. Their winger has far too much room in which to pick out his fellow teammate for him to cross to. And this is not the first time that it has happened. It's a recurring theme in our play at the back and something that we don't appear to be learning from. It's cost us a point yesterday and other ponts both htis and past seasons.

And I just wish that Ken had spent more time concentrating on the game in the final 45 rather than his constant badgering of the 4th official irrespective of how inadequate that offical was throughout the game.

The ref was the worst I have seen for a long time
And a quick look at his stats he seems to favour the away club
17 matches only 2 home wins
1 donny v Yeovil league
1 bratfud v stoke u23 in EFL Trophy

He seemed to be trying to redress the balance in the second half, he was awful, but no one on the telly or papers are saying it wasn't a sending off, it was retaliation, Jim says he never saw it ,but he was nearer than the ref!
Their player should have been booked, but Kenyon should have known better.

At worst, it should have been a red card for both players. 10 v 10 we'd have still been favourites.

Moly was nothing short of a disgrace yesterday. He should be ashamed of his performance when someone like Mullers never stopped despite clearly being injured. The lad looks scared to death and his work rate is shocking.

Agreed, but....

He's all we've got.

He's all we're likely to get at this moment in time.

And, seemingly, going forward.

Worse ref. I've seen since the move to the Globe. And on those standards that means he has to be one of the Sh*ttest of all time! Here's the bottom line: No Referee or official should affect the game or result in any manner. The w* nker should be struck off the Ref's list ASAP. Cheltenham should have left with several yellows and maybe a couple of reds instead of three pts. Surely there is a right to reply when this thing happens. I suspect not but I think the game down at their place is going to be spicy. However when are we going to get some luck. The last stroke of fortune I can remember was that free kick of Molly's at Colchester in bloody October.

Shrimpy will have seen this of course, but some very interesting comments on this thread from the Cheltenham forum.

Sounds like the thug who clattered Kenyon and Murphy has "form" in being a knob:

Anyone know if we've appealed Alex Kenyon's red card at all ?
