I’m not one for having a go at ex players but devitt was an arsehole.

An arsehole who I'd drive anywhere to get him back in red.

I would find a place in a car to bring both him and his mate Miller back to The Globe. Miller scored more league goals in one month (7 in October 2015) than he has scored in 18 months at Carlisle.

You'd have to get Miller in the car first...

The goals v Crewe and Carlisle were both scored because Baz is abs awful at stopping long range shots, brilliant at blocking close range but very dodgy from a distance, a couple of fans behind me yesterday were speculating that he had eyesight issues, who knows but not the first times he has been beaten by speculative shots which should be bread and butter saves...

When I was at the game in the away end I thought it looked a certain foul on Lavelle for the penalty - but having seen the highlights, I'm not so sure he was touched.

Good performance by the team overall - just a shame we aren't getting the points that our form deserves. Agree with Arnside Red, Baz is struggling with long-range shots. For me he does the stuff well that Dan Nizic is weaker at and vice versa - certainly the Crewe one I think Baz should've done better with.

Easily remedied.....Baz till half time then sub him for Dan......and hope you've guessed right ;)

Carlisle fans on Jamie Devitt:

Kevin Ellison:

And the penalty..... :

And I like this from a Carlisle Fan:

"I like Morecambe, it's a friendly club. I respect their manager and hope he succeeds in keeping his team in the League"

You missed off the end of his sentence, Martin, which carried on to say:
"but their team was quite the worst I've seen them have."

This is worrying when I thought we played quite well but just can't aim straight when in the box. It is just his opinion though.

I couldn't get to Carlisle on Saturday but I don't think things are quite as black as are being painted.

The last 6 games have only produced 1 defeat and that was the one where Jim went for a big striker , Oliver up front. The defence isn't conceding buckets full of goals like it has done in the last 2 seasons , getting near to 2 a game a couple of years back.

If we could sign someone to score goals when the window opens I can see us moving part way up the table out of danger if not challenging. Maybe a couple of players will have to be moved out to finance a striker.

Agree about a striker but of equal importance is a creative midfielder who could provide more creativity in the creation of chances.

For me someone with a bit off know how would be ideal

We have one of the best creative midfielders in the league in Aaron wildig. We need a 15 goal a season striker, but so does everyone at the moment and we can’t shop where others shop :(

What about a midfield enforcer? Like yard-dog Grimshaw

Having watched the highlights, why did we leave their scorer so much space? Nobody closed him down, maybe the ref was in the way a bit but no excuse for just ambling around 3 yards away

Almost a replica of the Crewe goal and others from outside the box this season. Far too much space due to not closing the player down. Must be doing JImbo's head in.

Or is that Jim's instructions? To funnel back up to the penalty area?

No mention of Jim in the list despite the likes of Westley, McCall, Kevin Davies and even Sol Campbell making the list. Michael Knighton is at 150-1

McDonald seems to be the favourite but current Chorley manager Jansen would be a good outside bet.
