We can't keep blaming the refs or bad luck for these results. I don't think Salisbury had the best game, but he didn't lose us this match.

The refs aren't responsible for us conceding in stoppage time repeatedly, or that dreadful first half, or us missing chances, or us hitting the first defender every set piece.

We had enough opportunities to win this one and we wasted them, a better team would have put this game to bed well before stoppage time.

Plenty of positives though. Bennett looked great when we came on, and I thought we were solid defensively. We only really conceded two chances, one from a corner and the penalty. Mills, Cranston and Conlan were superb second half.

Tried to close out a 1-1 draw by putting defenders on for fowards! Will we never learn?? Oh well we are where everybody wants us to be!!

I agree, it was a definite penalty and he gave us 10 minutes of total added time for their time-wasting and we didn’t use it to our advantage again... it’s OUR OWN fault

To be fair, I think he was somewhat limited. Mills and Oates both looked exhausted and seemed to be carrying something, not sure who else we'd have brought on instead.

First half was shocking, I haven’t seen us that bad for a while. Stevenage were time wasting from 60 mins. Unlucky to lose the way we did as I thought we were the better team second half. Mills was excellent and Kev got another goal.

Utter garbage and we are now in yet another season of trying to evade a relegation battle. Changes needed before it's too late.

How many seasons have been in a similar position under the current management Team? Too bloody many....... :(

No excuses or saying we deserved something, that was utter crap and our form is reflected in our league position.

Well that was a ball ache having to mysteriously retrieve my password even though I ticked the stay logged in box on numerous devices

Terrible first half, forced to change the formation after 20minutes because we had been sussed out....again. Lots of square pegs in round holes but Mandy hooked early again. He must be fuming or maybe it is easier to hook him rather than your mates?

2nd half was better but settling for a draw after 83minutes and knowing there would be substantial injury time is criminal. There would have been 15 minutes or a third of the 2nd half to try and get a winner. There will be spin doctors and the excuses but they are meaningless when you are third from bottom and won one in eleven. When is enough enough?

I think Oates is just a naturally unfit player to be honest. It’s in the genes and he cannot play 90 minutes, so who is Jim meant to bring on for him?

Deserve to be league’s 3rd worse team. 3rd worst defence. 3rd worst attack. Let’s hope we stay 3rd worst. Can’t see it though at the minute.

Thought Mandy was poor today, and we looked much the better team when he came off and Bennett came on. Definitely was the right decision in my eyes, and changed the game in our favour.

I also don't think we settled for a draw or sat back, we were definitely still going for it and just foolishly conceded from a corner. We had chance after chance towards the end.

Im starting to think that, quite often you'll see him blowing after 60mins into a game.

Still a Key player though!

Swapping Oates for Kenyon being an offensive substitution?

Mandy any poorer than Kev or Jordan?

Mandy statistically our most creative player is he not?

Not sure what channel you were tuned in to Tim.

I must have been watching the same game as Tim.

Oates had to come off, literally dead on his feet.
Big fan of Mande, but I agree, it wasn’t happening for him in any way. Passing was generally poor, weak in the tackle, didn’t chase the ball down hard enough.

Nothing whatsoever has changed from his Hartlepool days. Read the comments on their forum from when he was there. For some reason he can only last two thirds of a game. He is not capable of raising his fitness levels to suit his style of play and to last 90 minutes.

Quite like him when he's on but it would appear it's only ever going to be till about 60 mins then he's shot.

Both of the subs towards the end were forced due to Oates and Mills being exhausted and seemingly carrying an injury. I doubt Jim would have made either sub unlessed forced to.

And yes, I think Mandy was worse than Kev and Jordan today. He may be our most creative player, but it wasn't working for him today for whatever reason. He gave the ball away often and wasn't creating chances the way he usually does. When he came off, we looked a vastly better team.

Anyone know where Mendes Gómez was today? Needed some creativity.

As for the result, that’s about 11 points dropped in the last minutes of the game. We’re deep in the poo.

Sucker punched again - we should have claimed a point following our fight back, but ultimately we were too lacklustre for too much of the game.

We desperately need more firepower up front - is the Dagnall deal dead in the water? Ideally I’d like him and another attacker who runs at defences.

Bennett did ok and managed to get hold of the ball a few times but we need more.

Today screamed relegation and it is looking more and more inevitable.

This is not a one off, we are doing the same thing week in week out at home and have been season after season. Terrible first half performances, piss poor passing, terrible set piece delivery and throwing away late goals and consequently points.

Another one/two desperate January loans isn't going to solve this, and I'm afraid Jim doesn't seem to have the answers. Towards the end of the first half it was comical how badly organised we were with half the squad playing out of position.

In the post match interview, Jim again bemoans "that bit of luck". We're going to need more than that at this rate.

Do they not doing any practising of corners and freekicks? It's a joke how bad they are. Just no organisation. And don't get me started on the useless short corners. Have we actually scored from a corner this season?

Cannot believe no ones having a go at our goalie, never seems to control his area and why he did not wipe out our defender for the ball that led to their winning goal was criminal. That first half was an absolute shambles, what was the instructions for the game, because i've seen better planning for a pub match.

As soon as they turned us round on winning the toss, you knew what was coming, predictable as. We just didn't get out of the blocks in the first half. I didn't see their penalty, but thought the ref's assistant gave a corner. What looked like a stonewall penalty for us toward the end, with Mills getting injured, was ignored by the ref. We shouldn't have defended a point again, but the players don't seem motivated to win

Just out of interest if a lineman feel it's a penalty how does he indicate that with his flag because I also thought he had indicated a corner by pointing his flag to it

Also is their something wrong in our pre match dressing room team talk because nearly every first half at home we play poorly in the first 45. Are the talks too much about what the opposition are going to do rather than what we are or can do to Them?

Anybody know of a Sports Phycologist we can make use of to create a feeling of confidence in our lot? Seem to recall in our manager's early managerial career we did have the use of one.
