Fear Bury won't be the last and yes the Football League have some serious questions to answer but the blame lies with the owners of the club. Too many looking for a quick buck or moment in the sun. If your business isn't finicially viable it doesn't matter if you are a football club or selling plastic washers. The simple matter is you run out of money.

I remember reading this Guardian article back in 2014. Even back then a minority of Bury fans were extremely worried about the owners methods of financing the club and what it may lead to in the future. Despite their protestations the borrowing and high spending continued. Many supporters were content to bury their heads in the sand and blindly support the owner as long as success on the pitch continued.
Some would say the inevitable has now happened. It is horrendous for their fans because it must leave a massive hole in your life when your club implodes like this.
