It was a stupid one too, no need for the handball.

That's red card number 4, the only team with more red cards? Harrogate...

No means a classic . Reminded me very much of non league football. Long balls and very little creative stuff.

But it's 3 more very welcome points

We deserved that result particularly our defense and goalkeeper.... :o

Kenyon showed he's still an important part of the squad even if songo'o has been ahead of him on merit. Great performance from him today.

With Cambridge, Cheltenham, Bolton and Tranmere all winning that was a massive win for us

Ten games to go ...

Cheltenham (h)
Cambridge (a)
Southend (h)
Scunthorpe (h)
Oldham (h)
Bolton (h)
Bradford (h)
Walsall (a)
Port Vale (a)
Grimsby (a)

Not in order ..Personally for automatic we need 7 wins from 10 (possible - maybe !!!!)

4 wins and 3 draws should see us clinch playoffs which would be more realistic. But if we can beat both Cheltenham and Cambridge (big if) we have a real chance of automatics...

Strap yourselves in, it's going to be quite some ride!

Real defensive grind today after a blistering opening 15 mins. Harrogate didn't offer loads from open play as they do lack a bit of creativity, but are undoubtedly a good side and had really threatening set pieces. Jones on long throws was something else!

Big shoutout to the defence and keeper today handling some really horrible corners/free-kicks/throws. HUGE performance from Kenyon on his return. He really helped dim the threat of Aaron Martin which was so important, and was smart in possession - staying back, offering himself when needed and keeping it simple in possession either with easy 10 yard passes or well placed channel balls. Letheren was very good after a tough start with us. One scary moment which can be forgiven considering the barrage and that he generally dealt very well with a lot of balls into the area. Made some really good claims and was much more active off his line than he has been previously.

First target is the play-offs, and we do have to keep an eye on results around and below us for that - this is not being negative! Fortunately, things went well today with Exeter, Carlisle, Crawley and Salford all losing. Cheltenham and Tranmere both won, but they beat Salford and Exeter which is much more important in my view. Massive win today and we've opened up a good gap on the places below us! Exeter and Carlisle would need to win all their games in hand (unlikely) to catch us.

I think McAlinden deserves a mention for his excellent cameo role at the end of the game. He chased the ball down in their half and kept it intelligently to help run down the clock. He took a lot of pressure away from the defence and midfield in those last minutes.

Agreed, a couple of brilliant moments as well. One where he kicked the ball off them for a throw, and another when he won a free kick.
