No I am just realistic, honest and understand the basics of football.

We are clearly not good enough for the division and will be relegated.

Morecambe against Ipswich isn't much fun??? Wow!

What would you be happy with???

Say it again, slowly...

Morecambe against Ipswich?

I have not denied that fact it’s a great achievement to be in L1 I have so only stars the obvious that we are clearly going down this season.

Anyway I remember us playing Ipswich in the cup a couple of times fairly recently ;)

Apologies aren't worth paper they are written on

Officials should do their job corrrectly in the first place

Once apon a time we were over the moon to share a pitch with Ipswich. Today we were disappointed not to win. Decent performance but next week is a real opportunity to get back to life in L1

I thought we were much improved today, if we continue to play like that I can see us finishing midway up the table. Every week is a cup final

I have just watched the game again from yesterday...

Unlucky we didn't get a point

Badeau wins the ball for the 2nd penalty

Connolly on side for the 2nd goal

Stockton very unlucky with the little flick wide of the post

Is our luck going to change this season

The officials especially the referee were the worst I've seen for a very long time

Worrying thing for me is all the yellow cards we are picking up ..must have few players nearing a suspension

Think Fane and Love are both on 4 yellows after yesterday

Another awful refereeing performance yesterday but no action will be taken against the referee. He will be allowed to spoil other games by showing bias to the bigger team. He should be removed from the league list and returned to the National League until he improves…. but I know he won’t be.

Must agree with fulwoodshrimp
I am now, weekin weekout getting more convinced that there is a bias to bigger teams who spend more on player’s, it’s almost like the refs cannot understand that we can fairly challenge them so it must be a foul and they always fall for their play acting Fane got a booking for a foul on Chaplin that from his rolling and crying you thought he had broke every bone in his body, but got up to play best part of another hour, it’s a shame the refs seem to let the “bigger clubs “ players ref the match twice I noticed the Berlin Wall liner put his flag when Keogh told him to one was correct one was not

Their was also an incident in the first half where Ipswich keeper (Walton) tried throwing the ball out of his box but threw it into the back of another player

He then berated the linesperson for maybe 90 seconds - the linesperson just stood there and took all his abuse - Walton then berated all the officials at half time but still nothing was done !!!

I don`t mind losing any game fairly but yesterday we did not lose fairly

Something needs to change regarding poor officals but i`m afraid it probably won`t happen

Ipswich players sussed out the Ref early doors and once they conned him a couple of times thet had a field day. He was blowing up for everything and fell for all the tricks. The 1st pen is clumsy but the 2nd is a dive. Keogh was all over Phillips and they tried to kick the brilliant Shaw to bits.

I was bang in line with Connolly for the offside and it was clear in real time that he was onside but the Liner wasn't in line. He even had the 18yard line as a guide!

We are being outshithoused and we need to start playing the dark arts more. We are a young side and maybe a bit wet behind the ears.

Personally don`t think Donald Love is as bad as some fans make out - He like the rest of the team are very low on confidence at the moment

Some of the comments aimed at him from some home fans in the Bartercard were out of order and certainly aren`t going to help him moving forward

It`s only my opinion and probably not many will agree but so be it !!!!

I agree. People are calling for Ryan Cooney despite Ryan pretty much wasting a year of his career last season. Donald Love made some mistakes yesterday but he is more switched on than Ryan and does the hard work needed for the role. I would like to see Love's stats as he does get through some work in 90mins. I did put my head in my hands when he tried to sell their lad a dummy on the half way line.

Connolly was being pulled in the area, but still tried to get a shot away. He should have thrown himself at the floor as soon as he felt a pull, but did the 'wrong thing' by doing the right thing. I hate diving around, but, everyone else does it, so we need to do it as well.

I don't think the ref was 'biased', just simply not good enough. He missed giving them a definite penalty in the first half and having watched it a couple of times, I think Fane was close to a red card, when he was given a yellow. More 'big decisions' went against us, than against Ipswich, the 'not even close' off-side being the worst, but 'crap' isn't the same as 'biased'.

Pleased that it appeared that DA changed his usual cautious tactics to being more attack minded. Hope that this is the way that we will play future games.

#However as others have said there is no way that we can count for a referee who without question played up to the antics of a disappointing Ipswich team who are masters in the 'dark arts' of our game. Maybe it's time that we followed their lead and started to fall around when tackled as much as i would hate to see it.

Felt sorry for Cole who got sod all protection from such a biased referee especially the throat holding incident that hjd that been on the streets would have been an offence.

Cole looked to be getting back to his normal self but was blocked, manhandled and physically abused every time he got the ball.

I'm not at all convinced by Fane and Love as being better than those who remained on the bench.

Hate to say this but if both are now on 4 yellow cards then their enforced absence in the near future may open the door for other options to be givne their head.

If we continue to preform like we did yesterday then our season will improve but DA HAS to stick to a more positive approach rather than go back to the negativity so often seen this season.

All is not lost but iti's going to be difficult but a couple of wins strung together will improve the las confidence no end.

:D :D :D

I wouldn't say we were more attacking but we were more aggressive in defending. It was almost man for man at the back and we didn't allow them anytime on the ball. You can't play like that against every team but the work rate has to match that from now on. If we put that much effort in for the remainder of the season we should get more out of games.

Cole Stockton put in a much better performance yesterday.

The more I view their second penalty the more convinced I am that Bedeau won the ball first and their player then fell over the trailing leg of Bedeau...no way was that a penalty as Bedeau won the ball fairly.

Their player deserves an oscar for the deliberate dive but the referee fell for it as he did throughout the game and little wonder that the referee's assessor is reported to have apologized after the game for the poor decisions of the match day referee throughout the game.

Unable to find any video footage of our disallowed goal..... :( :( :(

If you go onto the I Follow match videos on our OWS the full match is on there so if you know what minute it occurred just scroll to that and play.
