My handicap bet went down the pan in the bleak midwinter, however I cashed out on my top 7 bet before Christmas and they gave me my money back less 50p so I was happy with that - even happier now!

If PMG had only lost 50p in that time he would also be well happy no doubt. (Not at the bookies obviously)

I liked Jim as a player but I am yet to be convinced he is a good manager. Anyone who thinks we have played ok this season needs their head read! Supporters have faded away as a direct result of the fare on offer on the pitch. Unfortunately some of Jims formations and tactics have raised eyebrows. Without going over old ground I cant see much changing with Jim in charge next year. We have offered up the same style of football for months which in my book has been ultra defensive. Jim has had ample chance to change thinks but has been either too stubborn or blinkered in not doing so. To turn round and say like some posters to finish 3rd bottom is an achievement is like hearing a clone of one of many of Jims post match interviews on radio full of excuses. I still think we had a decent squad but through playing players out of position and team tactics 3/4 of the season we have been DIRE! Supporters arent stupid and have voted with their feet and will continue to do so.

I think I missed those posts. Can you find quotes that say that please?
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Most, if not all, people on here (apart from Freez & Co. ;) ) and those I talk to (which is quite a lot of people/fans) question our downfall/ tactics/tinkering/ blah blah blah.. does anyone think the Managers Boss would ask him these type of questions as his employer - there are quite a few Chairmen that would - maybe they know each other too well? A bit like the Wenger thing.
A Manager would be questioned by his MD in business, should it happen in football, or do they just sack them?

As Baz says "the fans deserve more" and "we are disgraceful"

Do not think for a minute that I'm happy with this current malaise both on and off the field.
It's in the fans nature to question why we are in this situation and the discussion on here reflects that.
Just because I am still supportive of Jim and Ken, doesn't mean I disagree with the general feeling but then again, that's just the way I look at life, I can see that change is needed and its hopefully going to happen.
It's not clear yet how this manifests itself both on or off the field.

I think it's spoke volumes that Baz and Jamie did the interviews after the debacle against Stevenage. They were both bloody gutted and admitted it wasn't acceptable, as did the management.

We shall see what the close season brings!

Exactly. I think EVERYONE believes we've underachieved this season. The Chairman, board, management, players, fans... EVERYONE! What's different is what to do and why?
