The item below is on the Lancaster web-site.

I think it would work for us as there are lots of season ticket holders of other clubs in the area who would come to Christie Park on days when their club is away if the price is reduced. We wouldn't lose money as these people would not have come to our games at the full price so it is a win/win situation.
It could be extended to include season ticket holders of Unibond league 1 North teams.

It's a brilliant idea and one that's been mentioned on here annually for probably the last decade. An incredibly simple piece of marketing that costs nothing bar the promotion, targets people who actively want to watch football and may have come to Morecambe games in the past.

I think Brentford did it a couple of years ago

Chesterfield were advertising a 2 for 1 offer for the Shrews game this coming weekend
