For me, Howe was absolute magic in the first half. Best I've seen him play to date!
Heroes get mentioned but Legends never die.

Funny how people see different things.

Great when he had the ball but I thought he was lacking in commitment to get the ball and continually failing to challenge.

Quality player but if he put in that extra 20% he would be class.

...and that is the beauty of SVs, we all see things differently and can put a point of view without (well most of the time :lol: ) being blasted for it.

I'm with Mark on this one, he doesn't seem to "want it" or rather get it.
On the other hand sometimes he does work back and steal the ball, alas not enough though.

I'm with CC on this one. Howe was a constant threat and made their central defenders look second best.
Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all

Nope near the dugouts so saw close at hand a lot of his aerial presence and little flicks that confused Darren Kenton so much :D

The match I was watching today had Howe playing well and showing quality and Carlton once again not doing much apart from keeping the linesman's flag busy most of the afternoon. :x
