Just yet another excuse Jim can't use. In the past, he's blamed the pitch. He's also blamed lack of choice of squad due to injuries and suspensions. Yesterday, virtually everyone was available, the pitch was fine. So he's running out of excuses. I've mentioned training before - we've been to the open days to watch the training and it's little more than a keep-fit session followed by a kickabout just like the pre-match warm-up. I sincerely hope that the proper training sessions are a lot better than that!
On the subject of the pre-match warm up, they never change things do they? Always the same old. Anyone notice just how poor our goal-scoring practice is? Yesterday, it was only Amond who scored more than once, the others were constantly missing, going over or wide. We were watching the Cambridge warm up which seemed lot more intensive and they were scoring their goal scoring practices, even with having to turn (as they faced the kicker and had to turn).
Like someone said on the other thread, I think the club's becoming very stale in a lot of areas.
