I think a good revenue stream is untapped by not offering,a season ticket that includes hospitality, this would make fiscal sense to the club, and to well heeled supporters alike,i would propose a two tier hospitality package, making it affordable to the less well off, thoughts anyone.

... and welcome to the world of category A, B and C matches..
1. You would still need to book to make sure you would have a space etc.
2. no guarantee of being with your friends every week?
3. If there is a birthday/ celebration/ special occasion, the Club wouldnt want to lose a table or 2 of 10 @£450
So what would you price it at spuddy? Normal season ticket in advance is, say £400... offer price for season ticket holders is currently £20 for a buffet for a non busy game.
Assuming League games only that's 23 x £20 = £460 plus the £400 = £860
How many would they sell?

£750.00 for table sevice, 2 courses, match ticket and programme, 1 parking space per 4 customers.
£650.00 for a table sevice pie, chips/peas,team sheet, 1 parking space per 4 customers.
10% discount for 4 or more early bird bookings paid in full
10% interest if paid in 3 installments.
If 100 people bought 1 each we would have around 70 grand in pre season ££££,s

What do the hospitality boxes cost per season. They seem as though they would be quite a good deal for say 10 people putting their money together.

Put it forward, MPH, let us know what the response is
£450 per game with food for the spare box when available, HS. I was quoted £9000 for the season a while ago, food and drink extra.
These are + V.A.T.

Here's another one to make/save the club some money.
A season ticket in Omega is say £220. A season ticket in the C stand is around £400.
The club has to pay 1/6 of the season ticket revenue over to HMRC in V.A.T.
Why not allow spectators to purchase £220 in MFC Limited shares and for each payment of £220 they receive free a season ticket to the Omega. For a payment of £400 for MFC Limited shares they would receive free a season ticket in the C stand. This income is V.A.T. exempt meaning the club would save £thousands on their V.A.T. bills.

Issuing new shares dilutes the existing shares. If the shareholders wanted to do it, they'd surely have already offered shares for sale without freebies such as entrance. I imagine a lot of fans would have bought shares already had they been put up for sale - it's quite a common scenario for fund-raising for sports and special interest groups. Because they havn't, it looks like the existing shareholders want to keep their rights without dilution. You also have to be careful if you offer something to shareholders as a freebie as it can still have tax implications, i.e. taxable benefit in kind on the recipient or may still be liable to VAT on the value of the freebie, so not as clear-cut as it sounds.

No harm in advertising hospitality season tickets. Maybe buffet every match with the potential to upgrade when you like? Even if we only sold a couple of dozen it would be well worth it.

I don't see benefit in kind implications for the recipients as we wouldn't be employees with P11D's
It would be a long time before PMG's shareholding was seriously diluted from what I can remember about his stake in the club.
I am surprised that the club don't encourage the fans to purchase shares particularly if they are looking to find funds for a project such as the cover to the rear of the Omega.

Isn't it strange that nobody from the club has responded to this positive thread yet at the slightest sign of negativity...

It would be nice if something happened via a new major investor, but it looks less likely anything is coming our way via china, in my opinion, unless its coming on a 'slow boat' .
