Danny Ward, 21yr old from Liverpool
http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest- ... mbe-switch?
Welcome!
Liverpool secured the services of highly rated Welsh youth international goalkeeper Danny Ward from Wrexham in January 2012.
Ward, who made his U18s debut against Bolton on February 4, 2012, signed for Wrexham as a 14-year-old.
The 'keeper turned in a Man of the Match performance during his senior debut in a one-off loan game for Wrexham's Blue Square Bet Premier League rivals Tamworth last season.
Internationally, Ward has played at schoolboy, U17s, U19s and U21s level for his country and featured in a UEFA qualifying tournament based in Slovakia in September 2011.
In the summer of 2012, Ward was part of the first-team squad who made the trip out to North America for the pre-season tour.
The youngster was named on the bench 19 times in 2014-15 before sealing a loan move to League Two side Morecambe in March to gain further first-team experience.http://www.liverpoolfc.com/team/first-t ... danny-ward

Surprised we've managed to pull this one off, he's been on the bench nearly every game for Liverpool since the new year whilst brad jones has been injured. Can only imagine he's back fit !

An excellent bit of work done by Jimbo in my opinion.
Would have been nice to have seen young Stewart given his opportunity but his time will come...and being in the position we are in makes sense to bring in a more experienced keeper.

Yep well done Jim , But while you were at it why didn't you have a word with Brendon about an out of favour midfielder who could have helped us out till the end of the season . I know he's getting on a bit , but he's younger than Drummy and his Hollywood passes are a bit more accurate .
Hmm lets see if he reads this one .

We really should be doing more business like this in August, but great news all the same.
Suppose the market for getting your youth prospects then is full of better teams than us willing to pay in something other than smiles, but the point remains.

A good move on paper, but unsure what the point of us signing Stewart was in the first place if we were going to bring another keeper in if Arestidou got injured or suspended.

To sit on the bench so that our 44 year old goalkeeper coach doesn't have to.

A good mate of mine who writes for the Liverpool Fanzine has just tweeted me saying,
"You have just signed our second best 'keeper !!"

Or even super mario. Pitch at globe is smaller than anfield. His lack of effort would not be so noticeable.

Would have liked someone like Jamie Carragher to give up sky sports & come out of retirement & play in our back 4 as well.

Welcome addition, hope he does well, but the damage has already been done since Scotty didn't come home to roost

There's a limit to the number of loan players they can put in their team in one go but I don't think theres a limit on the number you can loan in a season.
