Hope we can show our respect for him in a minutes silence as he deserves that for the hard work he did for Morecambe FC.

Rest in Peace Sean.

Gordon here - Press Officer at Bury FC

Personally am absolutely gutted to hear this news...

I became very good friends with Sean through the job, his dedication to MFC, the job and his programme....

What a miss this guy is going to be, I will miss the phone calls, the friendship and the times we met and chatted.

Sean was on the phone virtually the day after Morecambe came into the League and we became good mates. He will be very sadly missed by me and many many more

Rest in Peace Sean - A lifetime and dedicated shrimp

Sad news indeed. His was a horrible illness, that has taken him far too young. Condolences to his family, he'll be sadly missed.

Devastated at the news about Sean. I taught him at St Marys when he was seven years old and I well remember his bright, cheery personality and happy smiling face. I met up with Sean again when he became programme editor and was pleased he had retained his engaging personality and friendliness. His commitment to the Shrimps was total and plain to see. He will be sorely missed. RIP Sean.

Was a familiar face around the club for years and also a great poster on here too.

His contribution to the club as programme editor and prolific fan needs some recognition. RIP Ockers.

Very sad news, and far too young. Always had time for a chat about the Shrimps when I saw him on the train the mornings. RIP Sean.

A little bit of Dagenham and Redbridge is going to miss you greatly.

Morecambe games will never be the same without your texts.
The classic one being before the first leg of the L2 POSF when you sent me a text saying 'Wouldn't be surprised if we lose 6-0 tonight'.

I'm fortunate enough too to have been at one of your soul nights.

Condolences to all the Morecambe family.

RIP Sean - one of a kind.
