Shrimps strt with Roche Beeley Dugdale Doyle McGowan Murphy Wildig Deviit Pritchard Mullin, subs from Edwards Ellison Parrish Thompson Molyneux Bailey Kenyon Fleming Barkhuizen Kelleher.
We have played 15 minutes it still 0-0. Pitch is lovely lush green and it's glorious sunshine.
First chance goes to Kendal and Connerton on 16, short back pass by Beeley sand he nipped in, rounded Baz and hit goal ward of a clearance by Doyle for a corner.
More to come

1 up, lovely measured passing down the right and ball to feet in the box with a good lay off from Mullers ends with Wildig passing it into the bottom left corner after 23 mins
On 28 another passing move is cleared only for McGowan to unleash a 25 yard screamer which bends the left post and out again!!
Shrimps on top.

Two chances for Kendal just before half time, one just wide by Wilks with Baz stranded.
At the other end Devitt had a volley tipp over by the Cumbrian Custodian!
Complete new 11 in the second half, all the subs above are on!! Including Flemo whom I forgot!!

Can't see Pritchard getting a contract. Two academy lads that have started 2nd half look promising

Agreed Bailey easy on the eye.
3-0 now Kenyon with a glancing header off the post from a Moly right wing cross following a corner!

Two chances for Barkhuizen, both saved by the keeps, a point blank header from a neat McGowan cross then a long ball he volleyed and the keeper again pulled off a good save!! Just less than ten left.

Last minute, raking Hollywood pass from Impressive Flemo to Kev, who was unceremoniously dumped on the turf for another pen. Barkhuizen goes straight down the middle with the spot kick, 5-0, it's all over.
More of the same dull crap on Friday if you cannot make the Notlob game!!

Just got back.
Good workout but obviously a wee bit rusty.
Wildig ran the show in the first 45. Magic!
Our young pro number 18 impressed in the second 45 as did McGowan for the entire game.

We're going to piss this tinpot league. They may as well just give us the trophy now.
(Just wanted to be the first).

Apart from the guy Pritchard. who probably won't get a contract, I was well impressed with the newbies. Also the 2 academy lads were great, the blonde midfield lad in particular put in a terrific performance.
I reckon this lot will play at a higher tempo than we have been used to for the past few seasons. Mollinho looks very assured and quick... get us a replacement for Redshaw and we will be promotion contenders
Was Wilson injured?

Indeed Wilson was injured, yes. Saw a Tweet last night about him.
Pritchard was disappointing last night, but we can't judge him after a kick about against a Northern Premier League Division 1 outfit. Give him another runout v Normid Wanderers (one for the oldies that!) on Friday and see how that goes.
The new 'keeper on loan from Rotherham had nothing to do to form an impression.
Agree wholeheartedly with the impressiveness of the new signings and the 2 young lads.
Good times ahead !!
