o/t Kool Grooves after party for Motown Magic
Posted: Fri Jul 31, 2015 11:54 amWe are trying something a little bit different at the Globe Arena on SUN 16 AUG from 5pm.
It is the weekend of the annual MOTOWN MAGIC festival and we have added an after-show party in the Wright & Lord suite from 5pm til midnight as people wanted somewhere to go after the Platform last time.
The main day is at the Platform in the afternoon from 12 to 5pm with the return of the excellent Harry Cambridge, Blue Juice & Dr Truth. Then we will move to the Globe with the KOOL GROOVES night,
There will be Ian 'Skip' Simpson ( ex-Crystal Ts ) and myself and guests playing all laid back and funky soul tracks from Motown, Philly, House and Nu Soul . Basically we will be playing everything from Stevie Wonder, Marvin, Luther through to Beyonce and Pharrell.
Tickets and tables can be reserved and its just a fiver admission. There will be waiter service and a different kind of vibe that night - so if if you are feeling funky why not just check it out
