O/T Mayor on a bike

On 22nd August I am cycling the entire 80 mile route of the Morecambe Bay Cycle way (Barrow to Glasson Dock), as part of the 'Mayor on a bike' event which is supporting St John's Hospice.

My aim is to raise over £100 to help them continue their important work, and I'd be really grateful if you could help by sponsoring me through my everydayhero supporter page.

Gutted we couldn't hold on yesterday but when I did catch the half time score I was a bit fearful I'd be asked to do the journey every Saturday if it led to results like that !!

9 hours 20 mins after setting off from Walney Island (~7 hours in the saddle), I arrived at Glasson Dock safely albeit a little muddy !

On the whole, it was a very enjoyable way to have raised over £370 so far, contributing to over £2,400 from all participants.

There are a couple of pictures from the day on the fundraising page, which will remain open for a couple of months, so any further donations will help the Hospice carry out their important work.
