thought they would have given him until the summer?
1 - 1 today against a very good Everton side, there is no shame in that, especially for a mid table team.

His record has been poor for what he's spent tho. No signs of improvement at all and the fans weren't happy the way he got rid of the spine of a team that was competing in the champions league places (Reina Agger Gerrard Kuyt). The first 3 of those players plus shelvey would all get in the current side now without a doubt. Looks like there getting a top replacement in Juergen klopp tho !

I always thought he was an underwhelming appointment for a club with such high expectations, rather like moyes at utd. a mediocre player, where ''show us your medals boss'' must have been the buzzwords behind his back, and 2 crappy management jobs before a bit of success at swansea, it was never going to work.

Some awful players in that side. Players that Rodgers signed for silly money, firminio joe allen Moreno origi and benteke is not worth £30m. Things won't change over night !

Rodgers didn't sign any of those by himself, blame the "transfer committee." As for "Reina Agger Gerrard Kuyt" - only Reina would get in the side right now.

Steven Gerrard set for Anfield return??
Steven Gerrard is in line for a sensational return to Liverpool following discussions with the club’s manager, Jürgen Klopp, The Independent can reveal.
Klopp has spoken to the former captain several times on the telephone since arriving at Anfield last month. The manager is now convinced that Gerrard’s presence will help define the standards of professionalism he expects around Melwood, Liverpool’s training ground.
Although Klopp has so far only debated the possibility of Gerrard training with Liverpool until 15 January when he is due back in the United States to rejoin Los Angeles Galaxy for pre-season, there is a chance of a formal playing agreement being brokered.
