Attacking the away end.

Just a thought that occurred from Saturday's game.
The opposition kicked off in the first half. Which means we must of picked to attack the home end in the first half. Why would we want to attack the empty away end in the second half?
Any ideas?

It occurred to me that it could have been in anticipation of the sun being in the opposition keeper's eyes in the second half, although it didn't quite work out that way.

Its frankly shit having the away end shut, I know its to save on staffing costs but if they aren't even going to open it for 400 fans when are they?

A simple solution would be to close the open side and let the car wash fans use the seated area allocated for away fans, then the away fans would have a proper''end'' and our car wash fans a better view with a roof, but as it's an idea off a SV,er it won't be considered.

Yes , I noticed that and thought it was a mistake to leave attacking the away end to the 2nd half. If the team is behind its harder to build up a head of steam attacking an empty terrace.

Maybe the reason was because it worked against Crawley with 2 goals in the 2nd half.

With 400 away fans we should have opened the away terrace. We opened it for less Accrington fans last season , maybe also this season too.

Yesterday Plymouth kicked off so we must have won the toss and chose to attack our end first meaning we were attacking the 'hostile' Argyle end in the second half.

most teams opt to face their own fans in the second half, the fact that the away fans are sideways on ,in the pmg stand might be confusing and disorientating our players

Thought yesterday it was to subject their keeper to the bright sunshine - didn't make any difference as it was dark before he touched the ball
