Nice gesture, but alas too far for this ex-serviceman to travel for a free pint.
I'd loved to have claimed my pint by presenting my Long Service & Good Conduct Medal, awarded on completion of 15 years of undetected crime.

We all have Human Rights, but they come with Human Responsibilities. Ignore the latter and you risk losing the rights to the former.
