Just to confirm things---- will the replay be on Tues 17th--because international call-up rules dont stop FA Cup games being played?
PS thought my 1st post hadn't gone through!

I think it will have to be Tuesday 17th.
There is a full league 2 programme on the following week 24th November.

At the game yesterday they said Nov 17th straight after the final whistle - the irony being that our game vs Dagenham in the league on Saturday has been postponed due to international call ups.... Internationals that take place the day of the FA Cup replay!

Let's hope we can make them pay for that farce by winning the F.A. Cup tie and taking the money that goes with it as compensation for the loss of revenue on the re-arranged league match.
Any anoraks (Marky 1) out there know how much the prize money is for winning a 1st round tie ?

How much have we made for beating Walsall and Bury ?

Get a secretary!
They don't really publicise it much due to the relatively low amounts, but considering how we scrape around for grass seed and lawnmowers, the £5000 ish for beating Walsall and the £7K ish for beating Bury should have come in handy.

The reply has to be at least 10 days after the original match. F.A. rules.

Exactly, the £18k more than covers lost attendance. We wouldn't even get £18k in total ticket sales for a league match with 1000 attendance bearing in mind over half are season ticket holders.
Tues 17th is a nailed on win plus extra revenue in round 2. £££££££££££

Confirmation of the excellent prices are now on the OFWS.
The reduced seating prices apply to ALL seats including C Premier.Let's hope that the reduced prices is reflected in the gate.
Well done to the Board in taking this positive action to encourage more locals to come to the game.

I really despair with our so called marketing department !
If you have this weeks Visitor look on the back page in the top right hand corner .... the advertisement shows theDagenham and Redbridge FA Cup game and the Cambridge league game with ADULT TICKETS FROM .........£16 !!!
Then turn to page 77 and look at the bottom right hand corner ( magnifying glass recommended )
Bloody brilliant !!!

So now we've made £5,000 , £7,000 , £10,000 and a paintbrush from the JPT. that's decent money for a competition derided by Wilder and a few others

To be fair, it is the stand out tie in terms of attracting TV viewers.

Dagenham have cancelled the supporters coach due to lack of interest.
