To get the ticket offer for Cambridge. Lets get Facebook and Twitter covered in this, as somebody is bound to turn up Tuesday expecting to get it. Hope that Cambridge have been told this as well.

I'm a season ticket holder but I went in today and bought some to give out to work colleagues tomorrow (my decision to do so. Hope they become interested)

Has to be done mate. For the sake of a few quid, if we can entice some more regulars it'll be all worthwhile.

I think the crowd will turn up ok. Lets hope the team turns up as well !
And Jim sends them out with the same game plans we used in August rather than trying to park the bus.

I turned up at 6pm to buy mine yesterday, no one else in the shop and not a single car in the car park!

Its not an all ticket match against a club with troublesome fans so why was the cut-off point for ticket sales on Monday ?
If anyone comes tonight to pay is it full price in which case they will probably turn on their heels and never be seen again.

I also turned up after 6 to buy 4, as i intended taking 3 people plus myself to the game, good old MFC, if they put the commercial dept. in charge of the goalposts we would be difficult to score against!

Surely common sense will prevail and they'll still be selling programmes from the shop today with a free entrance ticket, so that anyone who turns up tonight can still benefit from the offer?
Or is there some Football League rule preventing that?
If there's no actual rule to stop it, then it would be very foolish for the club to try to make people pay full price tonight and risk them going home again, never to ever return!

common sense would have been, opening the shop until the advertised time, so don't count on common sense, maybe they want this gimmick to fail.

Do they think very many will pay £10 or £12 to get in when everyone else has paid £3 ?

Dont have time on my lunch break to scroll through the OWS but im sure I read somewhere that there is a FL regulation that has caused the cut off point for the offer to be the day prior to the game.

Same with opening times though. A while ago, I was stood outside at 10am (the advertised opening time) and no-one around. When it got to 10.15, I went into reception to ask about the shop, he was in the back room having a chat, so then strolled through to open up for me which took 5-10 minutes as he had to unlock it, raise the shutters then I had to wait whilst the computer booted up. Nearer to 10.30 when I actually got served. Not very professional at all! Especially as I had work to go to.

We are pleased to confirm that the Club Shop was open as per the advertised times up until 7pm last night.
Details have also been posted on the OWS in respect of the ticket prices now available.

Everything could have been done over the phone. No one needed to make a special visit to the shop.
