We close the Globe, sell it off and claw some money back to pay off our debts, then we ground share somewhere where only the away support will travel, and where we have an excellent record...

Southend!

HAHA, great idea!

Coach travel to home games, a few beers and singalong. Better atmosphere, drum allowed in, happy days!!

Do you think we need another Sainsburys? :D

We maybe own the football club, but we don't own the "ground" that it stands on.
Problem not solved after all

what about sharing with lancaster, we could suggest we take half our name, say ''Morecambe'', and the ''football club'' ,off their name, sell the globe to the chinese, bank 1O million, build a vip diner/luxury stand for 1 million quid pitchside, spend a million on players, and just have a select fanbase of 500 season ticket holders,at a grand a season ticket with free food, all the profits go on wages, and we work in credit.

Because it would still feel like a home game. We play better away in front of no more than 100 Morecambe fans. Oh, and stop taking me seriously - tongue in cheek and all that.
