This forum has been crying for Jim to changes things in recent weeks and that's what it took tonight to get the win. Were 5 points off the play offs got a big semi final this time next week so it's time to stop being negative and get behind jim and the lads going into this vital part of the season !

Big thumbs up to Jim and the lads - much better tonight. Everyone played much better - we could easily have won by 2 or 3 goals.
Onward and upward. Hoping for a good performance against the CodHeads next Tuesday, even if we lose the tie.
COYS !!

Pleased for Jimbo after a November he will want to forget. He was constantly coaching from the touchline and the players appeared to respond.
Good to see them collectively closing down again, certainly not as many gaps and space as we have had recently

Great win for Jim, the fans there (just 999 home fans in a crowd of 1,027), and the players. I thought we were a bit all over the place in the second half in midfield but overall it was a much improved performance. Jimbo noticeably more animated on the sidelines then he has been recently. It's too easy to draw conclusions as to if that impacted the result tonight, but as a fan it's something I want to see.
Murphy makes a big difference when he plays and is the leader we've been missing recently. Good to hear Dugdale sticking his hand up for selection despite not having trained or played any minutes in the reserves recently. We need more of that type of attitude and for players to start taking some responsibility on the pitch when the chips are down.
Very impressed with Forrester tonight; Back to goal type of player that links up play well and can keep the ball. Different to what we have in the squad already and looks hungry to make the most of his opportunity.

Wonder how many of the 1500 took advantage of the half price offer?
Was pleased to see a mass of folk enter the Hurley Flyer around 7pm. Turned out they were on a free bus and ticket from the University, would have been nice for them to spend their "£100" round in our bar, but never mind... at least they made the numbers into 4 figures.
Hope they have been enticed to come back

I was told 28 at the bar, but I'll take your word for it given you can't pass comment about any other aspect of the game because you don't watch the team in the flesh.

Great to see Jim orchestrating things from start to finish. He needs to keep that going because we need to believe he is still interested and tonight's attitude made such a difference to the evening. It was like having an extra player on the field

We were sat next to them, and counted them, there were indeed 23, last time we played them there were 4 more, statistically this tallys with our slight fall in attendees for a ''mirrored fixture'', if, for some reason, we were toplay them next tuesday, at home, there would be 17 of then and 904 of us, and so on , right, thats that cleared up.

Jim put out the right formation and players against a cheating, physical side. Far better than keeping the same squad for game after game regardless of who we are playing. The lads' confidence built as the game went on. Good to have the midfield full of no-nonsense fighters for the ball, meaning we won most of the 50:50's for once. Unfortunately, there's no room for our creative players against a side like that.

This fixture rather than the Cambridge one should have been used for the £3 programme offer.
Dagenham would have still brought 23 but a lot more local fans would have availed themselves of the deal.
The Cambridge match could have been kept at the normal price as they would probably still have brought 167 ish fans even at £17 or whatever we charge them to sit in the stand.

Agree entirely with what RRW said about Jim being stood up and animated.
I feel it made such a difference to the team, and, for the fans too.
Great to see once again

Yes , good to see Jim out in the technical area directing operations.
I think we can be sure in saying Jim has got his mojo back

Nice to see a home win again. Let's hope we can keep on improving on the much better showing against a poor Dagenham side. Good to see corner kick and free kicks have been worked on in training too. A few days rest before the big game at mighty Fleetwood the best team on the fylde)!

I'm really looking forward to the Fleetwood game now. Before last night I thought they would outscore us easily but the team worked hard and a repeat of that makes for an interesting match.
Team selection? Over to Jimbo.
